What makes me cry is having my 30 y.o. son tell me that I embarass him when I ask to say "grace" at a dinner at his mother in law's house. My son telling me his mother in law is nicer than me. My son telling me I can't take my grandson out alone because they don't trust me to raise him the way they want him raised. Going to the mother in law's to visit my grandson and having her tell me what to do (she's getting better at letting me have my alone time with him). Travelling 3000 miles to spend some time with my son and his family at Christmas and being told NO his wife has too much family to visit. The heartbreak I feel from losing my son. The frustration of not knowing what to do to resolve the relationship except stay away. Lastly, a sister 9 yrs. older than me who after 45 years still blames me that our mother left when I was 7 and she had to "raise me"! You asked for real life stories this is sadly for real!!!

Sometimes, I get to thinking of my Mother. She died 21 yrs. ago and I still miss her precious smile. She and I were so close. We shared everything, funny, odd and happy. We both loved to go to our Bible Study classes and Church and had a lot of the same friends. I used to roll and fix her hair every week because she liked the way I did it. I took a 2 hour lunch from work to come to her home and do that for her. She done so much more for me. I keep her picture near my chair and sometimes I talk to her. It seems so natural. I feel her presence with me always. I just get watery eyes, not really cry. OH ! I cryed a river when she first died. She had been so ill for about 8 mos. with Pancreatic Cancer. I would not want to bring her back to that pain.
I've cred about other things but you know what, I'd rather think about what makes me happy. Now I am all sad but I thank you for your question because I got to share my wonderful Mother with someone like you that is interested in peoples stories.
God Bless you and Have a Wonderful New Year !! LOL, Jill

The one thing that makes me cry or feel so sad is the state-of our country. For instance all of our young men and women in Iraqi dying and leaving their families behind. Also, how all the celebrities going to other countries feed the hungry and helping with AIDS. We have soooo many people here that are suffering with homelessness, starvation, AIDS, drugs and crime. How can we go somewhere else and help out, when there is so much to be done right here at home.

Whenever I hear the song "Easy to Be Hard" (it's from the musical Hair) I cry. I remember the pain in the woman's heart as she sings out to her beloved Lafayette. She stands holding the hand of her young son, a single tear trail's down his swollen infant cheek. Touching. Simply riviting.

Some things that make me cry are when I see movies where people die or when people get sick. Like the movie Ghost, A Walk To Remember, and The Chrismas Shoes (good movie).

Whenever I go on Mission Trips and see needed people. This especially happens when I get frustrated about not being able to do anything else than what I'm already doing for these people. That's about it, and if a close family member dies.
