After ending a 5yr. verbal, emotional abusive relationship, I met a man that far exceeds anything I could ever hope for in a man. He compliments me, makes me laugh. He's raised my self esteem higher than it's ever been. { He's also beautiful!} We have so, so much fun together. Problem is, I'm 42, he's 35. Honestly, I'm very young looking {and kinda "immature"} for my age. He called and said "I dont think we have anything in common, dont think its gonna work" etc..That was last week, but he called New Years eve to go out. I had plans with my kid. I've been in tears! We have everything in common. I believe the problem is the age difference. I think it bothers him. Am I wrong to think age diff. is no big deal?

BUT.. BUT.. BUT… she’s frm Pakistan while I’m from India.

So Ive been with him for 4 yrs married for only 5 months...and last night he said hed be home early cuz our daughter is sick and anyways I called him at 7 Because he wasnt home and he said he was leaving in 5 min...He was only working 15-20 min away and he didnt even get home untill 8:15 or so. I asked him why it took so long and he came up with this stupid excuse of he kept forgetting stuff. To make matters worse when I call him usually its very loud because he works construction...but when I talked to him and he said hed be home early he was talking very low and it was supper quiet....Am I over reacting or do you think there is a something to worry about?

A friend of mine forwarded me some information from MySpace detailing a group of people out to make my exes life a misery. Threatening to "smash a glass in her face" and "f*ck her up". Now there appear to be quite a few of them and no matter how idle these threats may be..........should I inform a mutual friend or just let it lie?

Bearing in mind, my ex and I are not what you would call "amicable" in fact she messed me around pretty badly and cheated on me...........apparently not the first time she has done this either!!

my friend spiderman is so munipulated by his grandmother, she complains about everything, talk about everybody. she s a two face. a few months back he had a fight with his cousin who was living with them. now his cousin has become my friend. after the fight spiderman and his cousin are enemies. now i m still friends with his cousin. i have known him for 11 years now.
spiderman always confronts me about me talking to him, but i feel stuck in the middle his cousin didnt do anything wrong to me and also spiderman has the tendency of fogiving people and taking them back. just the other day his grand mother had a talk wit my mother about why do we socialize with there relative. its becoming annoying what should we do??

I met the most amazing person I think I've ever met in my life, or at least...in a very long time. On the one hand, I want to jump in with both feet and see what could happen with him; I mean...he's awesome....maybe even exquisite. We live in two different cities (but not extremely far). But the hurt little girl in me is terrified.

I trust that he would do everything in his power to not hurt me. How do you just 'let go'? I want to so bad...its almost liberating just to think of it but I have some serious battle scars.

Any advice would be much appreciate. And yeah, I really like this guy a lot.
