Well for some men they have to depend on someone else to take care of their needs, like laundry, cooking, and etc. Because when they were growing up they would alwqays depend on Mommy doing everything, but a man lliek me likes to help in the kitchen, doing laundry, washing dishes because I know that the woman will be tired from a hard days work then have to come home to clean. Well with me it depends who gets home first, and they start then when the other partner gets home they both together finish it. But some men believe that the woman should belong in teh home and kitchen and make babies. But that's the old ways and some men now still believe in it. Guess I am one of the exceptional one's that believes a realtionship should be 50/50

Depends how they were raised.
Remember you do things because you love him and want to do things for him. If you take care of him, he will take care of you. Maybe not do your laundry but, when you call him to a pick up some detergent or tampons and he does then...
When he willing to adjust things around the house or outside and does....
As for cleaning...train him when he's fresh. He should not leave dirty or wet items on the floor or on the bed. He should want to live in a clean house. And picking up the vacuum isn't such a big deal...as long as when he cuts the grass, your there raking.
It's all a partnership. If he gets lazy, asked him if he still needs his bottle. Your not his mother but his girl. He should never forget that. Trust me,
If you demand him to do things, forget it. You wouldn't want to be told what to do...
Do things because you love him...only because you love him...
you'll understand.
Good Luck

As a man I prefer cleaning up after myself, doing my own laundry, the dishes, house cleaning etc. The wife works and i retired very early (49).
So one could call me a house-husband. LOL I like it and recommend it to all men, tell the wife to get a job and you stay home and care for the house, kids, etc.

Men appear to like an independent working woman in the beginning, but when things get serious, they seem to change course. But who needs a lazy man? Just take care of yourself, ladies. We're the ones that matter, anyway.

I used to do EVERYTHING for my ex-girlfriend. But I never EVER got anything back... she thought looking cute, kisses, and sex was like payment or something for me doing all the work. Doing little things like laundry and cleaning up would of been nice... I would of really liked that.

Take care of them...Men want sex of course and they want to be "babied"--most of the time. And as long as he will cook dinner for you or do your laundry sometimes then there is nothing wrong with that.

Both. It's nice to have someone help you with jobs around the house from time to time, but I'm not incapable of doing it myself and I don't need a mother-figure to do everything for me.

I like a little bit of both, my girl friend cooks for me and helps me pick out cloths when I ask her too, but when I don't ask she doesnt try to do it herself. Find a happy medium

I would rather be independent in that respect or at least share in those duties. Not good to allow one person to do everything
