I regularly meet this pair of ladies down the pub. Now one is ugly as hell but I know I could get close and personal with no effort at all and she'd be really grateful. The other is really cute - but I'd have to make an effort (shave, wear clean clothes) and spend money (dinner, flowers etc). Now I need a girlfriend to see me through the dark and boring days of January - which do I go for ?

Please do them both a favour and spend January alone. You need some help, seriously! At the end of January either the ugly one will have her heart broken when she realizes you were just using her. Or the cute one will be onto you and mad as hell that she wasted emotions on someone who didn't want to make the effort. Wait until you find someone that you want to make the effort for.

I'd ask if you were incredibly shallow, but I already know the answer, so there's little point.
I'd suggest remaining single until you're mature enough to realise that you really shouldn't just use someone for a bit of comfort through January - not if you plan on calling them your "girlfriend", anyway. Bit of fluff on the side, maybe (and if both parties are amenable, there's nowt wrong with that!) - but girlfriends expect more.
Femalekind will thank me for that advice if you take it. :P
No offense intended, but if you take some, that's fine. I'm a nice guy, but there are limits to my niceness - so this may have been somewhat overblunt. Oh well.

LOL Go for the sure thing. By a Bottle of cheap whiskey and some motor oil, say a quart of 5 W 40, pour a shot of cheap whiskey onto your hand (Either right or left, this is decided by your preferences) lube up with the motor oil and have at it. Guaranteed to never strike out and lets face it. It's the best your going to get for January, or February, or March....

I agree with the person who said you don't deserve either. Go for the girl you LIKE the best, not the "best trophy" or "easiest target"! And why wouldn't the ugly girl deserve nice dinners too?...just b/c she's ugly? You said that she'd be "grateful" if you went for her...sounds like you think she's "never getting any" that's kinda insulting to her. Why would you want to be with someone you insult? I'd say go for the cute one, but in reality you're too shallow for either.

Here's what i would do...spend a little time and money on the cute one...maybe within a couple of weeks you nail her...while you are wining and dining the stuffy broad...knock that ugly chick's *** with out much effort..if all works out you might be able to induce a threesome by the end of the month and then send both on their happy ways, with everyone satisfied...then its on to February, where things get tougher because of how short the month is..good luck

HUH, what makes you think the ugly one is going to be easy. Be warned Mister, plenty of gorgeous girls have nothing else on their mind but their looks and money. Ugly girls [ nobody is really ugly] often have a good sense of humour, dont eat rabbit food and they are faithfull. Gorgeous girls wants everthing to be about them.
