ive done everything to get them to support me, respect me and be there for me and they dont show that to me and that pisses me off and im planning to leave my family and live on my own and ive been raising myself and have more life experiences than my family do, they are very self centered and judge too much. i just had it and really fed up, do yu think i should leave my family or what?? i have a bf and hes there for me but the problem is that hes leavin in 2 months for basic training for the army for 25 weeks and i will have no one to go to when im in need and how can i learn to depend on myself and not on others?? pls help meout

My best friend is always being bullied by the muscular dudes in the school. and i just cant stand watching them bullyin my friend. but im scared and i can do nothin. what should i do to trash these guys? i dont want to make a stupid act that makes me sleep for weeks in a hospital, it's too early 4 me. help plz???????

I'm 23, and met this girl through someone from work. Went out on first date, went very well (hockey game and then a couple drinks at a well lit lounge).

Found out from someone that she is going to her friends' house to watch the World Juniors' finals tomorrow. Thing is, this guy really likes her and i overrheard him saying how he was gonna try and screw her then. I also found out that she wound up making out with him a couple months back at a pub crawl. BUT here's the thing, he's definitely not charming, witty or all that interesting, everyone I know agrees she would never actually do anything with him while she's sober. Plus he's a loser.......

anyway, i'm just wondering, what do you think? i mean, i know for a fact i hang out with people i have "done" stuff with, though would NEVER do it again, even if i was super smashed, so i want to extend the same thing to her, should i be worried? i really like her and want to ask her on a second date, but do ya think?

Well most weekends I spend 6 hrs awake while my gf sleeps..and until her friend calls her up and makes plans..we're just sittin around doin nothing. my sister met a guy on lavalife a month or so ago. they met a couple of times in person but he only wants to be friends. anyway, he recently wanted her to be a guarantor for his application for a line of credit. he has no family around, they live overseas. he says he has no one he can trust, but trusts her. she is only a supply teacher and has limited income and no real assets. he went bankrupt in the past and says that he needs to re-establish his credit but can't without help. and now he's giving up as no one can help him. he is giving a very sad story to her. he says he would only have it for an emergency and not even use it. he would also send her monthly statements. should she do this for him?? is this even something to ask of a friend??

I don't know why. It is not as if am an extroverted jerk that thinks putting a girl down is the route to their heart. Quite the opposite. I love hugging puppy dogs and all that sweet stuff.

with a cute guy, who obviously has a crush on you, and you have somewhat of an interest in him. He's shy, but he's very obvious in the fact he's crushing on you. But hey, he's shy, so he doesn't make a move, ever. His friends think he's an idiot because he's not a bad looking guy and yet he never advances on great girls who could have the potential of being decent longstanding relationships.

How long does it take a girl to finally give up, and lose interest. If you ever do, keep in mind you see this guy around, at work, school wherever.

Do nice guys really finish last? and is it their own fault?
