I am engaged and sometimes my fiance refers to me as his girlfriend still. He says girlfriend and fiance are interchangeable since we aren't married yet. I always refer to him as my fiance but when we are out in public especially at bars and the bartenders ask what does your "wife" want to drink, I am all of a sudden the girlfriend again.I want your opinion. Once you are engaged can those two terms be interchangeable? I told him If I am only a girlfriend then I am taking off the ring until he is ready to call me his fiance. Am I wrong??

I have been going out on dates with this girl for 6 months now. We got serious about 4 months ago. The sex topic came up and she said she wasnt ready. I really liked this girl so I was willing to just hangout. and I thought maybe this is a friendship not a dating situation. but she gives the vibe of being more than friends but all she is willing to do is phone sex(mind you we live in the same city). When I brought it up recently she says "she is just stingy with it". wtf is thats suppose to mean. she acts shadey when it coem to the subject and my intuition is picking up some secrecy. I bring it up all the time but she says I just paranoid. I am losing interest fast and just talkign to her annoys me now. But I care for her alot. Any advice on what to do in this situation?

2 fridays ago my husband told me that he was leaving me. He denied any involvement with anyone else. He really wanted to go out on the Saturday night with his workmates. I asked him to go out, stay at his mums and come home with his decision on sunday. He came home saying that he wanted to stay with me. Over the following week he admitted that he had got close, over the past couple of weeks to a woman at work. They texted and phoned but he says nothing else happened. I believe him when he says that he didn't sleep with her. She was out on the saturday with his workmates and him and that he decided then that he didn't want her but me. We have been married 14 years. Earlier on this year he went on a site called adult friend finders, didn't speak to anyone on it but kept looking at the site until i found out. He says the problem was that i was always on the computer and that he felt i didn't want him. I wasn't paying him much attention and will now but is it really that simple?

Over the past year I have had a hard time dealing with the loss of my mom. Im usually a very very social person ( think Carey from Sex & The City) but I have shut people out and I dont show up to events that Im invited to. most of my friends think Im just very busy. I want to get connected to them again and involved in thier lives, but I dont want to explain what I have been going through. Most of my friends have been around at least 10 years and I know they will understand but I dont want to rehash my year of struggle. Also how do I make new friends in my new city?

Why is it OK for 2 long-time friends, both female, who have found each other after being separated for years to reunite and stay in contact by e-mail, by phone, by text messages and make plans to see each other? Why is it not OK for 2 long-time friends, a man and a woman, now both married, once had a thing for each other 20+ years ago, to have found each other after being separated for years to reunite and stay in contact by e-mail, by phone, by text messages and make plans to see each other? After all the years of separation, I think it's quite exciting to be reunited with both friends, the male and the female friend, wouldn't you think so?

Why is it I always feel unworthy of peoples time. I have been in two long term relationships, the last ending 10 months ago and was heartbreaking for me. I am 41 and am told that I am a good person and attractive. If anyone pays me any attention or spends time with me, I feel 'honoured'. I wonder why on earth these people have time for me. My daughter despairs, I do actually. I need some postive thoughts to tell myself every day please, make me feel better about myself.

He never initiates sex, I do. I am always on top doing the work. It's killing my ego and my drive. Xmas was a fiasco. I spent so much time and effort to get just the right thing. He had my list, but chose not to use it. He asked if I wanted iPod accessories and I said no but he got one anyway. This hurts because it said to me that he didn't care enough to listen. My sister came to town for xmas and he was really stoked (she's the only one he likes, ha ha). But when my sister and I came home to hang out as planned, the house was a complete mess, nothing was set out for dinner, he was glued to the tv, and he barely acknowledged her presence. He had been off work since 2 p.m. and now it was 6:30 pm. He could have helped out a little bit. Final straw-last night. I held out for dinner even though I was starving-well he wasn't waiting for me even though he knew i was on my way home, he was eating when i walked in the door and it pissed me off. I feel like he just thinks about himself.

we have a 1 year old together and ever since then he has been controlling saying things like"things will be my way or get out of my house" then the next minute he can be the man i fell in love with i feel that he literally finds things to "nag" on me about, calls me insulting names, never lets me have a say in any given argument, he says "i don't care what you have to say" for real he gets angry because I didn't figure out my paycheck according to him he is always negative putting me down , his new favorite idon't put in 100% into my new job even though he was invited to my second interview and explained the pros and cons of a 100% commission pay job every time i try to explain to him about my new career i'm making excuses! I am so worried that the way he treats me or handles himself will effect our son's childhood and well- being how do i handle this situation and protect my sons and i happy life that i want to give him HOW DO I MAKE MY FIANCE JUST LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY????

My best friend is supposilly in love with this kid.I think she is just obsessing and want to proove her wrong that she is no where close in Love because we are only teens. She loves his personality,smile,ect. Also, she talks to him everday and she knew him since September. She feels safe whenever he is around and feels like she can open up to him. Well I live in NY. I go to the city once and a while to clubs and all the girls I meet are like the dumbest people in the world, like seriously, they are pretty and all, but they probably don't know what 2+2 is. It just sucks around the holidays not having anyone there. I need a girlfriend and someone that actually wants a relationship! Not just sex! Why am I attracting these kinda girls? my ex g/f of 4 years broke up with me 6 wks ago i have been trying to find out why she did finally boxingday i phoned and she told me

1.
18 months ago i got sacked for touching up the bar staff at work but the reports where far from the truth and she did'nt like what she read
2.
that i did not surport her when her nan died 16 months ago whice i did the best i could
3.
i smoked not in the house but i smoked(i've smoked since we meet)

i was not earning lots of money but in 2 year i will own my own business

so really sounded to me that she was trying to think of past events of what happened if that was the reason why would she stay with me for 18 months i find this wierd!!!!!!!
also she is dealing with anarexica + depression and it was a hasty break up on her part i'm happy now moving on slowy but confused by what she said also she text me the next day saying that she loved me dearly,wants the best for me in the future and when we are stronger we can build a friendship!

Hello everyone... I have recently found my father to whom I haven't spoken with since I was 16 yrs old on Christmas Day he decided to walk away from me for good and moved to another state and didn't even tell me.. My mom and dad had been divorced since I was 7 but I had seen him off and on till that point in my life.. I haven't had any contact with him until I found him online through Yahoo Directory and sent him an email on Dec 22.. He replied back to me on Dec 24th but with a sob story and made it out like he knew he wasn't a very good dad and that he was sorry but that he didn't feel any of his kids loved and accepted him for him only what he could provide for them and if he couldn't that we didn't want anything to do with him.. I was the complete opposite and it hurt to read him saying that.. Should I continue to email him or give a possible relationship with my dad now that I am an adult with my own children?
