I met someone nearly 3 years ago and we dated for about 2 months. After I ended the relationship we tried to stay friends, because we lived nearby at the time. We have since grown into extremely good friends and share most things. We have also both dated since breaking up.

For about the last year we've had what can only be described as a "casual relationship" where we act as friends most of the time but when we are both single we usually end up sleeping together. I know this isn't an ideal arrangement but at the time she seemed very willing while knowing it couldn't go further. It's been during this time that I decided to let her know that I loved her and cared about her greatly, but while I am sexually attracted to her I couldn't be romantically "in love" with her because when we dated it was a disaster. She has since revealed things herself:

I think i just cheated on my bf!!!!!

It wasnot planned but I was with this guy and he just kissed me and then I contiuned to kiss him then after a while my bf sent me a msg saying "where are You I love you"
I mean what the fck is wrong with me?I feel so stupid i mean i would never want the same treatment now both of them love me!!

too much going on in her life
and i was like yeah i understand, after that conversation we stopped
talking and haning out... than like four months later i kind ran into her
and we talked about random things... and than later that same day i got

My mother in law has to be one of the meanest know it alls that ever lived. She always has this mean voice, and snotty way of telling you how wrong your opinion is. Than she wonders why only one of her kids ever asks her to their house for dinner on holidays. I just hate the woman. She is always demeaning when she speaks to anyone who doesn't agree with her completely. She will even fight with you when she is completely wrong about something and I've seen her do it with my husband. I just hate the woman. Does anyone else have a mean mother in law that talks to you like you are the stupidest person alive. Than to top it off she always defends her youngest daughter that has raised 3 boys that are drug users and lazy asses that are living at home smooching off them and they are well into their 20's. What is up with that? By the way this youngest daughter doesn't come over and help her mother in any way or invite her over. So there!! This daughter just takes Tell me your story.

All the hurt and pain caused by my family and my husband's family has made me into a bitter and hard person to live with. I am always in a lot of emotional pain. Now my husband wants divorce -can't blame him. I have no where to turn.
But I want to start healing my marriage by forgivinging everyone, inlcuding myself. I just want to let go of all the anger, resentment and hatrerd in me. No matter who did what to me, I just want to forgive and heal myself, my marriage and my husband. I will see a counselor next week and am trying to work hard on changing the way I think. My husband says it's over. I have not tried the forgiveness path before, but I want to give all I have. Any words of comfort and hope? Pls. help me.

He told me he loved me last night. I have been wanting to say it since day one.....I know woooooaaa horse!!! I am excited and a bit scared (of the unknown thats all). A friend and I were talking, and we weren't sure about this.
When you get married what kind of things are you expected to do on your own? By this I mean legally.
For example, are you removed from your parent's health, car, dental, etc. insurance? Or can you still be covered by them? And what about taxes and such?
(I just didn't understand if there were things you were required by law to do when you got married.)
