first of all, the best flicks are usually the ones that get crappy reviews. It is far different from the book and much more action packed with violence scenes.......but if you go into with an open mind, thinking of it as a good dragon flick you'll probably like it!
There have been a lot of movies I wasn't interested in that turned out to be great. Give your friend what he wants for christmas and go see the movie he has been so excited to see.....you will have fun just seeing his reactions...it will make you laugh and you'll make him happy.....

Just tell him that there is another movie that you have been wanting to see. You can got to the movies together and both see what you want. I am sure he would not sit through a movie with you that he really did not want to see.

I bet your friend has probably done something that he doesn't like for you so just go to the movie and be a supportive friend I mean how bad can it hurt to see a movie.

WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!!??????? i haven't seen eragon but the critics always suck. i don't know if u have seen pink panther but that movie rocked. the critics gave pink panther a bad review. trust me, eragon can really be good. if u still don't want to see it, try to intrest your freind in another movie. or just tell him it won't be good, but i think it will rock!!!

well just make up an exuse for why ya shouldn't go or a nicer way is to just express how you feel about the movie just tell him in a nice way you don't wanna go.

Be open & honest with him. Tell him there's something that you want to see more than that movie.~

Tell him you don't care to see it. If he presses, go along if he pays your admission. If he still presses, go and loudly snore during the entire film. Then ask when Dumbledore is going to appear. That should cure it right there. :)
