My mother in law has to be one of the meanest know it alls that ever lived. She always has this mean voice, and snotty way of telling you how wrong your opinion is. Than she wonders why only one of her kids ever asks her to their house for dinner on holidays. I just hate the woman. She is always demeaning when she speaks to anyone who doesn't agree with her completely. She will even fight with you when she is completely wrong about something and I've seen her do it with my husband. I just hate the woman. Does anyone else have a mean mother in law that talks to you like you are the stupidest person alive. Than to top it off she always defends her youngest daughter that has raised 3 boys that are drug users and lazy asses that are living at home smooching off them and they are well into their 20's. What is up with that? By the way this youngest daughter doesn't come over and help her mother in any way or invite her over. So there!! This daughter just takes Tell me your story.

My mother in law is kinda just like yours. My wife lent her a key once to take care of our things while we were gone and she rudely made multiple copies of the key for her use. So she always walked into our house and all times whenever she neded something or whatever suited her best. She has walked in on us early in the morning and late at night. So i changed all the locks in the house this one time. She kept trying to open the door, meanwhile i called the cops and said there was an intruder and the cops came and hustled her to the ground. I acted like i didnt know her and they arrested her , she was on 10,000 bail. Taught her a lesson.

My boyfriend's mom is a total control freak. She is so bossy and tries to control everyone. She is "always right" about everything and always in a bad mood. She doesn't like me because my boyfriend (her oldest child) used to do whatever she told him to do until I came along and now he takes my advice on everything.
She has two younger daughters and once I overheard them asking her for new winter coats and she told them they could just wear their last year's coat. Then literally a few minutes later she was talking about how she bought a new Louis Vuitton bag and ordered a coat that hadn't yet arrive for herself. She also can't hold a job and makes her husband work two jobs. Then she goes out to lunch with friends almost every day of the week and gets her nails done all the time. Once my bf and I stopped by to say hi before we were going to a movie. She knew we were about to go to the show when she asked him to go to the store to buy her ice cream, and the stupid Mama's Boy did it! We almost were late for our show! She drives me crazy, and I'm supposed to go over there in a couple of hours! Geesh!

I didn't like my ex mother-in-law. She always had to know where my paycheck went and if I wore something she didn't recognize, she'd ask, " Is that a new shirt? Because you should be saving money for a house." ( We lived in an apartment). Meanwhile, her son is filing a bankruptcy right after we got married because of his $30k in credit card debt, and stopping us from buying a house for 2 years. She was so obnoxious, I wanted to do like a Minnie Pearl and put price tags on everything in my house and my clothing.
I sure don't miss that miserable shrew.

My mother in law was one that I never thought that I could get along with....she was always up in my finaces and my business, telling us what we should do, how to raise our kids and so on...but you know when ever we needed help she was the first one to help the first to do anything for us.....So I say you may hate her but you should love her because the day you married or marry one of their children you are tied to them also...it's a package deal!!

I had a lot of problems with my mother-in-law while I was married. In fact, she's caused a lot of problems for everyone in general. Now that I've been divorced for 3 years, we get along better.

I had one who was an alcoholic. She died in a car wreck on C-mas eve.
Now I have a good one who minds her own business. We get along because we understand each other's love for the same man. I do not undermine her, and respect her.
Respect is a 2-way street.

I am not married but if I only had I hour before the world would explode I know I would want to spend it with her.... It would be the longest hour of my life!!! Mother in lAWS suck

Keep your distance....could be worse.....My EX-Mother in law told me I was going to hell for divorcing her son......I replied "save me a seat".
Do not go out of your way to communicate or be around her.
