Can you love somebody without actually going out with them? i dont know if i am in love there is so much talk about being in "love" and stuff and i know that some times people just throw around the word, an other times it takes ages for people to say it. How do you KNOW? like, i dont think i could possibly like the guy anymore than i already do. but then, ive never had a hard out relationship before so maybe im just inexperinced.

My best friend wrote me a letter a few days ago telling me how much she misses me because lately she been feeling so distant from me. I have a boyfriend now and I really like him, but he says that he doens't think I'm same anymore...
He says that he feels more distant from me too.

I am only one person. I can't please everyone. My best friend wants so much from me, and my boyfriend wants so much from me, but I can't please them both. My best friend means the WORLD to me but I LOVE my boyfriend. I'm not going to leave one of them so how do I be a good girlfriend and a good best friend at the same time?

Before you tell me to do sleep with him or do anything sexual with him I'm telling you right now that I'm NOT going to.

She is so aggravated with our temporary financial bind, she has completely wrapped her life up with work, and now I learn that she has started taken anti-depressants like skittles every day and this has turned her into a body. She just sits there with no emotions at all cause of the drugs. She just turned 39 and we have made it through worse than what we are going through now. Is she just going through a mid life crisis or phase that will improve with patience on my part cause of her age ? Is this normal for a woman of her age ? We only argue when I ask her why she is acting so different now ! She will let me have some, but does not want to get anything out of it ! We are going on 6 months here - ANY IDEAS ON WHAT I SHOULD DO ?

I always hear about flexible girls being preferred. I'm not flexiable and when i get on top on my boyfriend i just kind of bounce(up and down).i thought he liked it.So i asked my B/friend, if he prefered a girl who has a flexiable waist and asked him to be honest.He said that,he once dated an african girl who had a flexible waist and rode him better than i do,and that she was able to move her hips in a circular motion even when he was on top of her.He said it was great sex.She went back to africa.I asked him to guide me but i have a kind of sift waist. my girlfriend and i used to see each other on a healthy constant basis. now that its winter break we see less of each other becuase her dorms won't allow her to stay until spring. in her hometown she has been spending time with her ex whom she says is strictly a friend. im not worried about her cheating on me, im more worried about if her feelings for him will become more romantic or something like that.

the second part of this is should anyone even allow their significant others to even be in communication with their ex's? isn't this some kind of unwritten rule?

My mother has never really been close to us kids. You'd think that being a single mother would make us a really close family, but it hasn't. I've allways felt let down throughout my life by my mum.
It's my twenty first birthday next month and i'm having a big family and friends dinner to celebrate, and my mother told me she isn't coming because she was booked to do a band job that weekend.
This was just the final straw for my mother. Now i'm so upset with her i don't even want to see her for christmas.
This morning i was told that she might be able to come for a few hours, now i'm torn. Do i forgive her and welcome her to my birthday or do i hold my ground and let her know how hurt i am?
The hardest thing is she doesn't even know that i'm upset or that i feel like she constantly lets me down. What do i do?

We have been together for 2 years. I moved out last month so we can work out some problems. We are planning to get married soon. His mother and I do not see eye to eye on alot of things. Even though we spent the holidays at her place last year, he has decided not to include me and my kids for Christmas there this year. He says he is protecting us from possible drama(it wasnt drama last year) rather than taking the chance. Instead it hurts me and my kids. We have no family here cuz I moved from WA to MO to be with him. So it will just be us for Christmas. H says we can do dinner another day but Im bitter and feel like we are at the bottom of the list. Am I wrong for feeling this way? What should I do?

it started out as friends,one day we were talking about crushes,so i asked this guy who he has a crush on.(btw i have a crush on him) I asked him, but he wouldnt tell me unless i told him who i was crushing on. and i thought , how am i going to tell him that i am crushing on him. after a wile i decided to tell him. in a text i told him hey i like you, i hope this doesnt change anyting betwween us, but now u have to tell me who u are crushing on. he replied ok i lyk jacklyn. so i was heartbroken but then 10 days later he said his true feelings are for me.so from ten on we talked like little lovebirds sharing secret with eacother.usually he would be the one to start conversations.after about 3 months. he texts me less, and now i start the conversations more. i mean he used to rite me poems. but not anymore. instead of texting him everyday and stuff now. i just let it go..i decided not to waste my time on something that isnt working. was tis the rite thing 2 do??? if not, wat can i do???

Honestly, I have never met a girl who would not date a guy because he was a little "pudgy". A girl usually dates a guy who makes her feel pretty! I would never turn a guy down all because he was a little bit on the chubby side; I think that a cute face is more important than a person's body.
