Honestly, I have never met a girl who would not date a guy because he was a little "pudgy". A girl usually dates a guy who makes her feel pretty! I would never turn a guy down all because he was a little bit on the chubby side; I think that a cute face is more important than a person's body.

Because the media puts so much importance on the way a women "needs to look". So, young boys grow up looking at those types of women on T.V., Magazines and advertisements and assume that all women should look like this. I have been a victim of this myself but have grown to realize that beauty is definitely based on who you are as a person.

I think some men just think they have to date a woman with a nice body to make them feel good about themselves.. Now all men aren't like that and if you will notice that most women who are on the chubby side are wonderful and cheerful and have a personality to die for. By the way, I am not a big woman, but I would love to have the traits that some of my friend (large ladies) have.

Ah but you your still stating that look matter right? "a cute face" I have often wondered why it is that the masses find the same thing attractive while we find the same things unattractive... I dont think we will ever know... If your pudgy now you will be fat later so take my advise get to a gym & slim down at least long enough to catch a man. Because unfortunaty looks do matter.

How do you think all the pudgy women manage to reproduce? Yes, guys do date women with different body types. They stop looking for barbie dolls when they start to grow up a little and they're ready for a real relationship.

In my experience there are just as many women who are picky about a guy's body. Just go to yahoo personals and log on as a "man seeking a woman" and see how many people have their ideal match body weight set only to "athletic" and "fit". I am with you about the cute face being more important, but I think you and I are in the minority.

Lot of women date handsome men just like a lot of men date pretty women. Matter-of-fact females are just as visual as males - ton of women on here like good-looking Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Jude Law, Orlando bloom etc. Tell you what see how many women date/marry a man shorter than they are. What it comes down to is both genders try to get the best mate that they can (looks, personality, intelligence etc).

I have, they are just not as open about it as men. I don't think they are as into men's bodies as we are into women's but they can still be critical of a man's body. See though you say a cute face is important, well even there is a bit of bias. I see woman admiring musclemen, the same way as men admire a sexy female body.

Men and woman are vastly different. Biologically men have much higher levels of testosterone. This hormone is related to sexual labido and aggressiveness. This is the reason why men have higher sex drives. Evolutionary theory states that men can enpregnate several woman and it was necessary for men to have sex with several different woman to improve the chances of off spring. For woman, the gestation period is 9 months to bear off spring and are less likely to need to find several mates to produce off spring.
Men, therfore, will look for physical appearances to create off spring and will often look for another mate after copulation.
Woman, therefore, will be concerned more with having a man provide or protect her. This is much more important then physical appearances.

Most of the guys out there are "pudgy"..chubby..fat..or going bald ..i honestly think you girls havn't got a lot of choices ..we men really don't care about our looks ..unlike you woman do..to look pretty and desirable you guys starve your selves put all that muck on your faces spend most of your earnings on clothing lie. cheat.
have bitchy fights over man ..all ways flirting ..most if not all of you practically acting like a sluts ..your Brad Pit's and Tom Cruses are not enough to go round ..we fellas know that ..so we are picky ..after all woman do go out of their way to be pleasing to man....
