does anyone know the legal details for visitation ie who pays for visits, where are the visits to be held etc, i am in Australia, thanks

I would say that if he is about to leave town that he would not be worrying about visitation. If he wants to see the children from out of town l would imagine that he would have to pay for them to travel to and from wherever he is. Your best bet though would be to get some legal advise just to make sure of what your rights are and where you stand. Best of luck and Merry Xmas.

You don't say if there are children and if so does he have custody. I would suggest that you consult a lawyer and see if he can leave with them, before he does go. I'm sure you have some legal rights.
