My bf and I have dated for almost 4 years. I am 24 and he is 25. I think he is the one and I want to spend my life with him. Everytime I talked to him about it, he just kinda ignored me. He said," what's the rush?", and I kinda agreed that we are still a bit young. What should I do?

Some seem to think that just because you broke up with or divorced a person that you are a man basher or woman hater. I'm not in that ' club ' of ex's. Did not like that divorce happened, yet I'm much more at peace in my life now. Any other positive minded ex's out here that still adore, value and treasure men / women ?

My girlfriend does not acknowledge my prescence when we hang out and school and when I ask if i can go to her house she says "let me call you, my my mom doesn't like it when I bring you home right after school"
that is reasonable... but....
she never calls me
what does this mean?

I'm out with this girl. We were friends when we were kids and I just got back in touch with her. I think she knows that I like her more than a friend but I can't tell if she like me back. Tonight when I took her home, I kinda chickened out and didnt even walk her to the door, even though I knew I should had. Was that a mistake or was it a good move not showing I just want to get into her pants? PLEASE HELP!!!!

I couldn't type the entire sentence in the question box.

Anyway, how would it affect your relationship with your son/daughter if they were a law enforcement officer and they
wrote you out a citation for speeding?

How would it affect your relationship with your son/daughter if they were a law enforcement officer and they arrested you?

Two questions that I thought were interesting. For me, arresting my parents would be an impossible thing to do. I would resign and find another job. I couldn't write them a ticket either. It would be hard to issue them a citation and visit them two hours later and pretend like everything is okay, when it is really not.

I have a cousin that applied for a FBI field office and they asked him one question to see if he would lie to them, and he did. He told them what they wanted to hear, which was, he would arrest his own mother if he had to. Nobody would arrest their own mom that brought them into this world.

I've been talking to this one dude for a year now, he's a great guy from what I can tell online, we spoke a couple of times on the phone and he agrees we should meet in person. But I am not so sure. Any suggestions? I live in California.

I know it's not love, but it sure does feel like it. I was dumped by my girlfriend about six months ago, after about a year of dating. Now I'm stationed overseas in Doha, Qatar, and I keep feeling depressed and just...absolutely wrecked. She absolutely was everything that I wanted in a woman, and I'm afraid I'll never find someone that clicks with me like she did. We still talk on AIM. I can't stop looking at pictures of her, us, things like that, and I have this intense desire to know what she's doing, who she's doing it with...I want to be involved in her life again. I feel like a stalker, but I can't get her out of my head and move on. I'm extremely jealous of the guy she's with now, and one of her friends told me that my ex feels like I'm not getting the hint that she's happy now...but I just can't let go. I don't know what to do to move on, and I really need some help. I'm sick of having this heavy, sickening sensation in my stomach when I think about her or look at pictures.

Long story short. My husband has been waiting on a promotion for a long time. He has had 3 offers in the last year, but they have always been hundreds of miles away from where we live. He's always turned them down because of that. Two days ago, his director told him he had to be in Iowa immediatley, but wouldn't tell him why. Well after he got there he was offered a promotion. If he turns down this one, it will probably be his last offer. I know my husband is DYING to tell them yes, and he would make a LOT more money, but at the same time, I'm torn. I am really close to my family and it tears me up to think of leaving them behind. My family is more important than money and stature, but I don't want to disapoint my husband. He's worked so hard and deserves this promotion.

I have great in-laws, but they recently decided to ask their friends (a couple) if they want to travel with them and stay here with us here in Boca Raton (FL). Even though I know they would understand if we said NO, isn't it really a big assumption to tell their friends they could stay with us before asking us if we were OK with it? Plus, it makes US look bad if we said no. We like their friends, but still--we are not running a Holiday Inn here. Are we just being anti-social, or are we right? Please share your thoughts. Thank you!
