Christmas is a truly false holiday because nowhere in the Bible does it say that Christ's birthday is on December 25th! I think that Christmas is hyped up for anybody who looks forward to it especially for the gifts. I think Christmas would be better off if it was named something else and if people enjoyed the thought that thoughts count and gifts don't.

Whatever about the religious aspects (for which I personally have a great respect), I believe that for children it is probably the most exciting and memorable part of the year. You do not have to spend a fortune to make them happy when they are young - many small things bought throughout the year can help make it one of their greatest memories. I still love it and do not worry about presents and cards. I just love it - long may it continue..................

i dont know what religion you are but if you were to took into it christmas isnt even suposed to be about gifts or Quality , quantity. even though its a hssel for aults and a junk aholic day for kids. if you have kides please tell them that this holiday is about love and joy and peace not husseling to get to 18 different places for 1 night

christmas is a time for families get together and spend money on each other. yes it is exciting or kids, but in my family brithdays are more important and celebrated more

It makes me crazy. My family makes it that way. Everyone gets (and gives) SOOOOOO many gifts. The pressure of buying the right things (quality and quantity) completely take over. I kinda hate it. :(
