NO!!! The government and the INS caught on to this scam when Russian women were marrying men for visas and money. These days you have to prove with photos, videos, family and friends being interviewed as well as people both of you know or work with , that your relationship is legitimate... it may take up to 2-5 years before they decide wether the marrieage is legitimate and ths give you a visa... but it varies by state so good luck!!!

You will have to prove it is a valid marriage ( and you will have to do that against the negative presumption that your ages will cause).
You will have to stay married for a certianl number of years ( I don't recall off the top of my head, I think it is three or four).
If your application is found to be fraudulant you may face other penalties like a life time ban on residency.
Better be prepared for a judge to ask questions like how do they take their coffee, when did he first meet your mother, wich side of the bed do you sleep on, and on and on. Believe me, anyone could think of an hundered questions that you won't know the answers to if it is a false relationship.
Of they don't flag it as a possibly fraudulant marriage it is pretty fast, a numer of month ( sorry I can't be more specific, I got out of immigration law before 9-11 and haven't kept up with any changes) and you can often do one step filing of you I-130 and I-485.
You need to find a lawyer who is current and expereinced in the area who can guide you through the problems you might have if your marraige was not suspicious on it's face.
I hope that your relationship is real and that, if it is, you are able to come on over.

Just one little addition, unlike what someone above said, it does not vary by state, immigration is federal law and it applies nationwide. The only difference location can make is that the limited resources the government has to examine all the applications are allocated differently in places where they have 10 appliactions a year as opposed to plases where they have 100,000.

Are you sure you want to marry a guy that is more then twice your age? He is almost old enough to be your grandfather. What kinds of things do you have in common besides the like of money.
