I feel that the more experience I have acquired, the more I realize that love is rare and imperfect, and that it does not simply last on its own, but needs to be sustained by investing work and energy.
This is nothing like what I thought when I was young.

well, obviously! not just love, anyone who is self-reflective and not so wrapped in oblivion, of course, should be able to be more realistic about life's expectations, and not just love.
experience matters. but whether you can take a lesson from those experience matters more.

yes.. the older i get the more realistically and logically i look at love. it doesn't seem like just a little high school fling anymore.
