My friend mentioned that sometimes she needs to read something inspirational like a quote to help her with anger, sadness, confusion etc and anything to do with dealing with life in general. She suggested she might make some little post its to stick around that would catch her eye and make her think throughout the day. So I thought it would be nice to make her some cards on my PC with quotes for her Christmas present since money is a little tight this year. I already made quite a few with quotes off the net but I thought that it might help to ask on here what everyones favorite quotes are. So post as many or as few as you like, and why they are your favorite quotes. The best quote or the best collection of quotes will get the 10 points.. Proverbs, short prayers and other inspirational or moving sentences are also welcome. She is also an animal lover so anything to do with pets, animals and nature is also greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance to all who answer!

I live in Los Angeles. Yes, there are a lot of attractive people, but most of the guys I meet are only into partying and hooking-up. Where do you meet a guy that is down-to-earth, sweet and kind? Tennesee state police have issued a state wide amber alert. There is a missing child named Andrea Montoya. She just went missing at 2:45, and she was last seen in Gatlinburg at the River Terris Hotel in the laundry room wearing a purple coat and grey jogging pants. she is 3 ft tall and weighs 96 lbs. She is originally from florida and is here on vacation with her grandmom and mother. A white jeep cherokee with florida sunshine liscense plate was seen circling the area.





Please guys and girls repost this...I want to see every single one of my friends repost this because I know you all have a heart! she was kidnapped just a few hous ago today. It will take like 5 seconds to repost.. What if someone sees this, that knows something, and a grandma and mother get there child back!! How great would that be? The idealogy of Islam and the west surely conflict in the matter of marriages. Muslim traditions demand full involvement, loyalty and faithfulness from partners. Ofcourse, such things can be found in western cultures also, but on the whole the free mixing of men and women usually results in infidelity or easy divorces because choice is made very easy. Well, one may objcect upon muslim approach which tend to restrict the unnecessary mixing of genders, but still for a true muslim husband easy manners of ladies towards other men will remain a difficult theing to put up with. You must also consider the importance of family in Islam. Anything which is inimical to the existence of family is either checked or disapproved. So the attempts in Islamic tradition to keep the family stable are real. Anything which unnecessarily tests one's integrity is checked. That's why you see less mixing of genders in islamic countries. Can western ladies go with this approach?

My wife and I have been married for 2 1/2 years. Last night she told me that she feels unloved because I do not want kids with her. I do want kids but the relationship has never really worked since the marriage. We are both much older and she is at the end of her "clock is ticking".

She told me that she loves me but doesn't totally trust me and feels no affection from me. Again, partly because of no kids. We have been many times to marriage consuling with no success. I love her but I feel that we should work on our relationship prior to having kids. I feel like I am in a "Catch 22" - - She will not be happy in the marriage without children but I feel the relationship is not strong enough to have children.

Help!

well this seems to be a cliched situation.
i fell in love with my best friend, but he doesnt see me more than a friend, he clearly said so 2months back... so it took me a while to get over that and continue with life..
i kinda moved on trying to keep some distance so that i dont get hurt
he called me up last night, he needed someone to talk to. we must have talked from 3am to 7am, international call.
he misses me alot and cant really define his feelings now.
i am a prudent person, but i think i loved him too much and i kinda still do.... it was tough to move on in the first place and now if later he says he doesnt love me then it would again be painful.
breaking off the friendship would be stupid. do i tell him i need some time off? or wat shud i do? it seems stupid at times...

OK.......................so there's this guy that I like who's in 9th grade (i'm in 7th) over the summer i was babysitting for these people who happened to be his neighbors they decided to play capture the flag with their neighborhood in his yard. so that night i was talking to him and then randomly he told me to go into his brother's room (he has a brother who's my age) what did he mean?? it kinda freaks me out.......this kid does have a sick mind so...........

Dear Dierdre,

I've never written to you before and I am not exactly sure how to explain my problem, but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision.

Let me start at the beginning, I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me.

There have been many of the usual signs. The phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know them."

Lately I stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive. Although I can hear a car driving off, as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi? I once picked her mobile phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk. She screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.

I decided I was going to park my Harley Davidson motorcycle next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she came home.

It was at that moment, crouching behind my Harley, that I noticed that the valve covers on my engine seemed to be leaking a little oil.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer?

He hurt his shoulder about a month ago.He was in between jobs at the time.He has always been a hard worker but since this thing with his shoulder he doesn't even seem to be worried about finding "something" to help out.It's hard right here at Christmas.I have been having to pay all the bills, buy all the groceries,buy all the Christmas presents.His kids are living with us so I have to buy everything they need.I love this man dearly and I know he is a hard worker.I want to tell him to get up and go to work but I don't want to hurt his feelings.Any suggestions ??
