My daughter turned 18 in Oct...i have raised her on my own and have always set an example of charity and that there are others less fortunate...be thankful for what we have, not dwell and complain about what we dont have..lately though she has been acting spoiled and stuck up..her b/f has bought her a beautiful necklace for x-mas and she is going to hate it..she has dropped out of hs(her sr year) to take it at nite cause she "cant handle the pressure"...refuses to seek treatment for her emotional problems and is very hard on me although i try my best (im on disability)...in the past i have turned to the community to help teach her(ie,had her talk to police when she didnt understand that hanging around kids who do drugs she can still get in trouble) and had her volunteer at childrens hospital helping her learn how her good health is a blessing and it has worked...not sure how to teach an 18yo to "be nice" though...any suggestions?? thanks

Ok. I have a crush on this girl. She's a year younger then me. I talked to her friend and she was telling me she has had a crush on me for a long time. I was asking her if I should tell her, and if it would be cool if I called her. She told me she would want for me to tell her. And that it wouldnt be weird If I called her. She knows I've dated alot of girls, and that I've I'm fairly popular. I really dont she would ever expect me to fall for her. I got her number the other day, and have been calling her. Just the other night I told her to call me at around an hour ago, whenever she got off. Should I stick it out and see if she does, or sucker in and just call her. I'm not sure, but I dont think something small as this doesnt mean she doesnt like me. She might be nervous. etc.

What would you do? Lets say that you are at the happiest in your life you have acheived all that you've ever dreamed for ( family, success, whatever it is that you think will guarantee your happiness) but one night you see a rape occuring ( be it wherever) do you stop it at the risk of your own life? or do you walk away and pretend to see nothing (see no evil, hear no evil)? i broke up with him like 6 months ago and he has since moved to another state however before he moved he kept trying to get back with me but i wasnt ready for that well now i realize i still have feelings for him. i have been veiwing his myspace every night and when i looked at it last night i saw he had a pic of me and him on there and used it in a slide show. do you think this means he still likes me please give your opinion. I could use help from both sides here...
There is this guy at my school that I REALLY like, but there's just something about him that stops me from talking to him. I want to talk to him, but the only time I managed to was when I asked him to our Homecoming. He seems like a really nice guy, but it also looks like we have pretty much nothing in common. My friends all back me up saying that they'll come with me to talk to him, but he's a senior and I'm, well, not. Should I try talking to him, and if I should, what should I say?
Also, we're from completely different 'cliques', if that's what you want to call it. Him: All black, eyebrow peircing. Me: Jeans, nose-peircing, t-shirts. Kind of stereotyped, but that's pretty much all you need to know to get the differences...help?

My best friend is married has kids and was having affair with his girl friend in office who is also married and has kids... Now the girl wants to leave him and become faithful to her husband , but my friend has truely loved her and cannot leave her nor forget her .. He has done everything for her and spend all his money, belongings and slogged for her day and night . and now the girl wants to back out , but she just says that she loves him ... he asked my guidance... what is the best solution .

I thought 5 minutes was a long time so i lifted her head out the floor was soaking wet wheere she was enjoying herself by thrashing about between the 3rd and 5th minute.

When she could talk again she shouted at me and threw the soap at my head..

I was worried but it looks like she wanted to stay under water longer.

Should i have lifted her out after 5 minutes or let her go on longer???

I really like a guy...but the thing is that I'm very moody...sometimes I'm avalaible for him ...and sometimes not...I 'm telling him to get over me cuz Im insecure and go away ...but he stands by me... I often lie to him tha tI have to go somewhere...just no to go out with him...and then I feel guilty about it...I really like him( even though he is not perfect) ...but something stops me ....how to overcome this insecurity?

I must say that this insecurity comes...that I'm afraid to commit with somone...in fact I 'm being too careful...not to hurt myself again...

My boyfriend is 18 yrs. old and he still has fights with his 17 yr old brother. He is very responsible and other than that he has never been so childish, but when is he to old to be acting out in these various ways? Sometimes there parents have to break up the fights... is this normal for a guy?

Well i've liked this certain girl since i've meant her but i've always kind of played it cool. We work at the same place and so a lot of people I work with directly have known that I like her. We where pretty good friends until she got moved to where I work so we where working together all the time, well I guess she got the idea from others that I was saying that we where boyfriend/girlfriend and so she got mad at me and started to ignore me. Well I told her that I never told anyone that but I don't think she believed me. So we haven't really talked in a couple of months, we've worked together and that's it, but I think now she's starting to realize that maybe I was telling the truth because she's starting to speak with more people there now and most of the people there have a lot of respect for me. So my question is, now that she is starting to come around to speaking with me and being more open to me, should I ask her out again or just hang tight and see what happens?

... and now, after a solid, very good and stable one year relationship with me, she says that she can no longer deal with my two small children. Yesterday, I was trimming split ends off of my friend's hair, and I guess I cut off more than I was supposed too, because this morning, she messaged me and tells me that I had cut off more than her likings; I cut off hair layers, and made it shorter. She says it's okay and tells me not to worry about it, because she'll cut it herself to even it out and all, but I can tell that she's angry at me (but then again, who wouldn't be?). I feel horrible enough, because she had put her trust into me, yet I screwed it over.

What can I do to make it up to her?
I told her that I will pay for her next haircut at the salon, but she declined, and I can't think of anything else I can do to make it up to her. :-\
