Unfortunately looks are what first attract women. however looks will not keep a woman interested. you have to win them over with your personality regardless of how good looking you are

Depends on the woman...
Some women are attracted to what we'd find the ugliest creature on the earth, but he has a heart of gold and a personality to match. Others are overcome with greed and fall for money before anything else.
For the most part, I've noticed that looks are the 1st thing to attract, then if the personality isn't there to back it up, nothing more comes of it. If the woman is around an average looking Joe, and he has a personality to win her over, then love is sure to follow, regardless of the looks...more of how he makes her feel.

i was having this conversation with my friends last week and each of us had our own little things we initally notice about a guy these being:
- shoes- a guys shoes tell alot about them, if there dirty then well expect the guy to be a bit messey, new shoes and he takes good care of himself, the brand of shows fixes you into genre, converse punk/rocker etc. trainers laid back/comfortable guy
- nice eyes lovely warm smile, preferrably dimples they are SOOO cute! eye colour preferrably green or really blue
now whats keep the attraction is a guy that shows interest and can crack a joke at the right time, and basically keep me laughing constantly
