we have a little christmas contest for christmas and no
one took it seriously except me. I love to decorate and I decided
to decorate my cubicle with a tiny tree,little lights,little nativity
very nice and cute.. everyone praised me.. and said how
creative I was ..i am very modest.. But the next day one of
my coworkers decided to bring big stuff big christmas decorations
and big pillows and big christmas bears... and she just
made a comment about how she loves christmas. and decided
to get into the festive mode. So now everyone is being sarcastic
and telling me oooh you have competition now... I am a very
humble person and everytime I try to do something nice this
co-workers tries to find out and tries to out do me. what should
i do... it is really getting on my nerves and I am beginning to
dislike her because i feel she is trying to sabbatoge me..
help me how should i deal with this problem...

A couple of guys in my class wanted to see something and I didn't want them to see it and one them goes "Why, is it an embarressing naked picture of yourself?" The other guy goes then let me see it. I am a member of a fraternity and i was just appointed the house manager position which means im responsible for making sure all the house duties are done. The dishes in the kitchen never get washed but i dont want to take them away or lock them up because they get used on a daily basis but im also tired of them not getting washed. We dont have a dishwasher so they all need to be hand-washed. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can enforce that the dishes get washed?

I'm 28 y/o teacher and I still live at home with my mother and sisters. I am the man of the house and sometimes I feel like I have a lot of responsiblity to live here. My mother owns a four story brick in NYC. I have been helping out my mom with rent higher than her "rent-stabalized" tenant pays, bills and other things around the house. I spend a lot of time on the Internet because being teacher my work and I don't really have friends or a private room because I live in the living room. So my mother sees me doing work and surfing the web a lot leisurely. My mother has recently got a divorce and she is refinancing her mortgage at $2,000 higher than what she is paying now.My mother always complains about her ex or that she's alone and struggling. I help her pay bills and buy groceries/dinner but she finds little things to say that criticizes me and annoys me. Like me spending time on the Internet or not understanding her situation because I'm single & don't have children.

Basicaly, ive been trying to get with this one girl(A) for a while, but where really good friends, and she dosn't want me as a bf....BUT i'm not sure, but i think it would hurt her if i found someone eles, she depends on me for emotional support and flirts with me alot.( she talks to me I think i'm going to find some one else but i know she's going to get jelous.... and she gets dissed by guys alot..... in fact one of the guys who dissed her is a friend of mine, and he asked her out for me....She took it as an insult, and said no. Husband of 20 months is a dull lover. His idea of sex is hop on, do it and get off. I have talked to him about my needing more, but he continues to ignore my suggestions. Sadly he paid so much more attention in the beginning of our courtship to how I felt, but after a short time that part was over. We have been to three counselors...their suggestions did not make an impact on him. I've grown weary of him and his misogynists ways.
