Okay I have been with my boyfriend for almost 10 months. (We are madly in love) My parents HATE him; but barely know him. Once I graduate high school he asked me to move in with him. Should I or no? I really want to; but I love my parents too, just him more!

Have you asked your parents why exactly they hate him? Maybe, you should listen to them. They've known you longer then this guy and do know what's best for you. Perhaps, you should be turning to them for this kind of advice. It's usually best in the long run. I know, you may think you're madly in love, but moving out that young without college can make things harder. I'm 18 and I am just now figuring out that they know what they're talking about. lol. Just think about it. ;)

Wait till the time comes for you to graduate to decide ... You will know him better then....June is at least 6 months away ..a lot can happen in six months.Yeah and stop pushing the idea to your parents... It can still be your plan but wait to learn more about him... I know you don't want to hear this but sometimes parents can see something in a guy that you can't.Your love for him makes it hard for you to see any bad in him...and not that you asked but ... make sure you don't get pregnant .

Hello my sister in the soul. Love feels so wonderful and magical when all is new. You state your parents hate your boyfriend, why is this so? Many times our parents see things we can not due to the love blindness we have. ( Love is wonderful do not get me wrong, but my child let's take one step at a time) Once you graduate from high school you are going to be very excited, imagine a whole new life folding right before your very own eyes. Ok, but remember that for every choice we take today , we will have to live with the consequence of this choice. So please be receptive with your parents and you boyfriend , try to find a happy medium for all parties, try to see why your parents do not like him. Do not do something out of frustration or anger, like making radical desitions that can make or break many things in our life. Sorry to tell you that I must disagree with one thing, you might think you love your boyfriend more, but honey those are words of resentment towards them for not accepting the love of your life, just sit down in a relaxed state of mind, listen to some soft music, meditate, find your inner peace, then find the time to sit down with all parties envolved and see what happens with open communication. I personally would not move in with him as soon as you graduate high school, to many presurres and changes. Life is a wonderful journey we should live to the uttermost, embrace it with all of the essence of your soul, but do not allow yourself to fall short of reality, by having your heads up in the clouds and stars, making reality to hard to see. I wish you the best. Remember this , everything exists in the spiritual world first, then in this physical realm, what you believe to be true for you, that it is. So please be careful what you wish for, our intentions are far more stronger than what we realize.
Love and Light be with you always
A friend,
Tatiana

The decision may be yours..but majority of the times it happens parents are right. Try to convince your parents and give your beloved a chance to go closer to them help him by providing information on liking and disliking of your parents...
Good luck!

Young love seems so powerful but sometimes it can blind you. I know that my parents didn't like my boyfriend and he turned out to be a total jerk. Did they like any of your other boyfriends? They might see things you don't and are just trying to protect you making mistakes.

Don't even worry about making a decision right now. Wait until you graduate and deal with it then. Don't stress over it until it's closer to actually happening.

u should stay with him...and when time comes your parents will understand. or when u are old enough to take care of your self by financially and everything than you should go with him till that u can tell him to wait for some time and if he loves u than he will understand your problem.

i dont think you should move in with him because... it most likely wont work out. most of the time it never does. i think you should get to kno him and let your parents get to kno him. but live with your parents! And you can always go and see him and talk to him! so stay with your parents, i think that is wise!
