I am a member of a fraternity and i was just appointed the house manager position which means im responsible for making sure all the house duties are done. The dishes in the kitchen never get washed but i dont want to take them away or lock them up because they get used on a daily basis but im also tired of them not getting washed. We dont have a dishwasher so they all need to be hand-washed. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can enforce that the dishes get washed?

put them in the tub...lol...might sound funny but my cousin use to do this with her roomate who had the same prob, and she got the hint and did the dishes, in the sink of course ;-)....it puts it right in thier faces so there is no way to avoid it and have them say "hey i never saw them"

Just threaten them if they don't do the dishes, then they wear skirts all the next day or get kicked out of the fraternity. That will get them to do them.

No frat boy wants to be seen like that.

if they do not wash them u do not have to cook supper or do nothing that is their responsibilty. or they will be eating on dirty dishes on the other hand .

Try stacking them in the shower or bath tub.

Make them chip in and hire someone. Otherwise I doubt it will get done...lol. Good luck!
