im in california and my boyfriend is in nevada. i know how far apart we are is nothing compared to how far apart you and your boyfriend are. but here's the thing... we've been boyfriend/ girlfriend for two years and it's still us. like, sometimes we fight and break up and even if we break up, i don't know, i just find it weird but we both can't help to say i love you and i miss you to each other so we just end up being boyfriend/ girlfriend again.

it takes a great deal of trust to be in a long distance relationship. contrary to what one replied to your question, long distance relationships do work out.

trust your boyfriend. i guess not seeing him will make you miss him more.

I've been in one for almost 4 yrs. They can work. It takes a lot of communication, commitment, and trust. It's more complicated, so you have to decide if the person's worth it to you. Keep in mind that if you guys are having problems when not long distance, it won't work long distance. Good Luck

NO, NO, NO! Please do yourselves a favour. Long distance relationships are a nightmare. The term is a contradiction in itself. It's hard enough having a meaningful relationship with someone near you, but when you add the long distance to it, you're doomed.
It's not meant to be at this point in your life. Who knows, some day you may cross paths again (when you're both living in the same city/state/neighbourhood) & have the opportunity to be in a relationship.
Honestly, don't give yourself the extra stress of long-distance relationships, SO NOT WORTH IT!!!

Long distance romances rarely work out.
If it is serious, one of you need to move.

You can give it a try as long there is a time you will live in the same place, Otherwise why bother?

sometimes a long distance relationship is far better than a short near friendship

IF and ONLY IF you feel in your heart that the person is your soul mate; long distance relationships are a COMPLETE AND TOTAL HELL THAT WILL RIP YOU TO PIECES EMOTIONALLY TO THE POINT OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. I'm not kidding.

They only work if short term is in mind. Have a 'someone is moving date' and stick to it.

Otherwise, move on. They don't last.
