My partner had a baby as a result of a one night stand. When the mother registerd the birth she claimed that she didn't know who the father was. We have his daughter every weekend and he pays her £110 a month and also helps with clothing and shoes etc. without any hesitation. He is willing to support his daughter but now she is demanding more money from him.
As his name is not on the birth certificate has he got any rights?
Can he be made to pay more?

My wife seems to be having a lot of baths lately - on more than one occasion l have heard a mans deep voice saying something like "hotwaterbottle" - I have checked the room afterwards and haven't found anyone yet but the window is always open. Do you think l should bash the door down when l hear the voice again and catch them at it? ;-)

I fell in love with this guy. And have been for about 4 years now.
We have the same birthdays and we just have so many things in common even things we do. I used to talk to him and be around him 24/7. What me and him had was unexplainable.

Me and him weren't dating but we acted like we were and the way he talked to me was so diff. he called me all those sweet names guys do and he was always over protective to who i talk to. He even yelled at my best guy friend for flirting with me. He also told him im his when me and him were just friends.

Even thou me and him dont talk anymore we still have those moments when we hang out with a huge group with people somewhere, we always stare at eac hother just like we used to before we started talking for the very first time.
Now when i text him he sounds as if hes mad at me and whenever i talk to him too. his ex and him got back together so i dont know if i should get over him or get him back??

I met a man abroad, I went to his company for an interview for the job of a voice and accent trainer. I did not think anything of him, nor knew about his situation. I was recommended to his company by a friend/colleague.

Our friendship developed and we became lovers after several months. He left his wife and two boys and he got his own flat. He moved in with me and our relationship began. He promised me that he would get a divorce after one year of being apart from his wife. I am back in London and have been for the past 6 months and we have kept in touch regularly. I have always said that he needs to get a divorce so that we can proceed with our future. He has told me that the families have met and no financial resolution has been reached therefore he will not be divorced. Living with him like this will make me his mistress. His wife has more rights over him and in the society where he is from I am looked at as a home breaker.
He is coming here in December.

Hi everyone. Thanks to those of you who answered my questions about my nana - but I'm not the only one who's been upset this week! My work colleague has just confided in me about a girl in another section who he has been friends with for like, a year. He started dating her then cheated on him and dumped him. He's miserable and he's never like that, always sprightly and chatty. We've never really spoken before now, so I was surprised and a little humbled that he chose me as a confidant. I've tried to say all I can, and mostly I've just listened, but I feel as though I can't say enough. What advice can you give me? Is there anything I can do to make him feel a little better?

He got drunk with college friends from 6pm onwards. He then offered to walk a girl he thought didn't like him to the train station. She missed her train.Between the two of them they got a hotel room-double/single I didn't ask.Once in the room he said he wanted to just sleep, but she suggested sex.She guided him into her and they had sex "twice but in the same sequence of events" he also remembers going down on her.The next morning he says he felt awful about it.

Roll on 3 weeks. I notice he hasn't been calling as much as usual. We go out for a meal and when I get flirtatious and suggest going home with him, he backs off.

So last friday. He comes over and tells me what happened. I am shaking. Up to this point we have only ever slept with and gone out with only each other. We have been together for nearly 5 years.Basically its total devastation. But VERY oddly I went home with him that night...Now I feel like I'm losing the plot....HELP ME!!!We're both 24.

met this guy at a party last night, one thing led to another and we ended up spending most of the evening together. We then went bar hoping and clubbing till the early hours and he invited me back to his for more drinking. We ended up sitting on his sofa chatting and holding hands till 5am and then he asked me to stay over promising to be a total gentleman. He was, we went straight to sleep I woke up with him holding me and he kissed me for the first time in the morning. He is off on holiday for 3/4 weeks today, but asked for my number when I left and said he would call me when he got back.

1) Is the fact he was a gentleman indicative of him liking me or not being interested
2) Is it likely he just asked for my number to be polite
3) Is the fact he said he was going to phone on his return good indication he is thinking of pursuing this or the polite brush off
4) If he was really interested would he not call or text from holiday.

When someone is talking to you and slips in a phrase like "Beleive me", "To tell you the truth", "Trust me", "I guarentee"?
Lately seems like as soon as I hear those words I stop listening to what I'm being told. Is it just me or do those phrases signal a lie?

My boyfriend and I are moving out of state. I am nervous as we have suffered a personal loss. Many family members are urging us to stay and are not supportive of the choice to follow through with our plans. We are not running away from our loss but they see it as such and I feel very bad. Any thoughts?
