~How can you "allow him to be your boyfriend" if you aren't even sure he feels the same or wants to be your boyfriend?
The only way to know is to ask him, and that's assuming you actually want him. Do your studies come first? Second hand news isn't always factual. You need to find out first hand.~

Concentrate on your studies. It's the most important thing right now. Having a boyfriend will distract you and possibly cause you drama you don't need at your age. Just go out with friends as a group. Do not get serious with a guy for a few more years.

You can still keep your studies your top priority but have a boyfriend for fun times. Can't have all work and no play!

You both ccan be friends and while at that you cud tell him why you're not into relationships now and maybe encourage him to do d same. You just might find your friendship blossom with time.So don't actually blow him off.

u have to balance between your study and life and him,if u know u can do it ,no harm in trying with a steady slow approach ,if u cant then let him go ,it could be hurtful to get stuck in between
