i have known this girl for a year. i am like in love with her. she is beautiful, has the most wonderful personality. she doenst know that i like her. to me, i feel that she is one of the most wonderful person i have met. and i want to be with her. so i went out to zales and bought her a necklace. then a note telling her how i feel about her. i plan to give this to her during school, on the last day that we are there before we go on x mas vacation. i just want to kno if this was a smart way to do this.

I need help im so lost and confused. Lately my episodes have been getting worse, and my medication isn't working. I'm worried for the safety of my daughter. She is 6 years old. I have suffered from this disease the last 15 years of my life, but it has been getting worse. My husband died 4 years ago and we have no family near by or that I could trust my daughter to. I no longer feel like I can properly take care of my angel, and my heart is breaking, because I don't want to give her up, but I need to think of what is best for her. PLEASE HELP ME!

on&off.We live&work in the same neighborhood so we see each other everyday unless I go out of my way to avoid it.He said he loves & misses me too but what I can’t understand is why I am always be the first one to call to make up with him even it his faults.I stop seeing him for a week every time he hurt my feelings then I will call him he always makes it hard for me before he gives in.Even when he was just my boyfriend I asked him why he can bear not calling me for weeks if he really love and miss me, his answer is:“I am just a strong guy”.He said whenever he sees me walk by, he look away because he said it melts his heart.Times I let him see me pass by & he would do something to call my attention to look his way.We made up but it is still true that if not for me walking by where he works, it will never happen.Is he really just a strong guy with high pride or he really doesn’t love and miss me that much anymore.He said he doesn’t mean all the mean&cruel things that he says to me

My dads always drunk every day. My families stuck with him because my mom needs him to survive. ( Like bringing home money to pay for the rent ) It's frustrating because my mom is always covering for what he does such when he trashes the house throwing things when he's mad. There were times when he beat my mom but that's very rare though... but it still happens at times. It's scary living with the guy and hard to ignore him because when he's mad he verbally attacks anyone in sight when your minding your own business.I tell my mom that they should split so many times but she just acts like nothing happens... People always tell me that he's still my dad and that i shouldn't stay stuff about him like that especially to my mom? I dunno... So whoes side am i supposed to be on?

I have this g/f of mine who started seeing this man about a month ago,actually not even a month.
She first phoned him,and ever since than he has been phoning her.First it was one call a day,than 2 calls a day,than 3,now sometimes 4 calls a day.
I don`t know if I shoud be concerned for my friend,or is he jsut really into her?
Or is this more serious than what meets the eye?

It has come to my notice that in societies that in encourage arranged marriages, there exists a large number of marital relations between the same two (or a small group of) families which is not strictly inbreeding, but rather a very milder form.

Could this explain the increased occurrences of genetic disorders (e.g. diabetes) in such societies?

I want all opinions, good or bad...
So one of my good friends dated this girl for about a year and a half. She broke up with him once because of distance issues then got back together then broke up for good 2 years ago because she cheated on him. The girl and I have been good friends for 4 years. My buddy has now been dating a chick for a year who he says he loves. About 6 months ago, his ex and I had a thing for each other and "stuff" happened. I told him 3 weeks ago and he hasnt talked to me since and neither have 2 other close friends. The ex and I are just friends now and nothing more but we had more than just a one night stand.

Am I in the wrong here?...I feel I had feelings for her and he was in love with someone else so he shouldnt have been so mad.

I'm 18 and have been dating my boyfriend for over 2 and 1/2 years. Recently i inherited a house and some money from my grandmother. I am moving into the house soon and would really like my boyfriend to live with me as well but my dad told me he would never forgive me if i moved in with my boyfriend before i was 21 (??). Even before i inherited the house my boyfriend and i had talked about getting an apartment together. I really think we are ready to live together, and it would also take a lot of weight off his chest. He has to be out of his house by June and it is REALLY hard finding an apartment here (Katrina affected area)... I just dont want to jeopardize my relationship with my family. What should i do?

The only sure thing is really slutting looking girls are not my type, but besides that I can't tell. Or should I not go for looks at all because judging people by their facial looks is retarded? I just went on a double date with my girl, her brother, and his girl. And the thing is at the end of the date my girls brother's girl breaks up with him and out of nowhere shes callin me sayin stuff like that a guy like me is what she needs and how things could be if we were together. Anyway , who cares if I'm dead or not?
However we're all gonna die, and there's nothing I want to do that I haven't done yet...well actually theres only one...I want to meet her, I don't wanna die with out love someone and be loved...but where's she? where have she gone?...maybe she doesn't exist and I'm only wasting my time and hurting myslef trying to find her...I'm losing my hope, it's always the same darkness, pain, tears, hate...so what if i kill myself? someday we're all gonna die so, whats the diference if die today or in 50 years?...

ok so this good guy friend of mine has not talked to me for three weeks. three weeks ago, he talked to me everyday. someone told him i liked him [which is true] and he hasnt said a word to me. he looks at me alot. alot alot alot. when i catch him looking, he dosen't look away. sadly i do. ]: what should i do now?
-he goes to his locker after school (and he knows i go) when he never did when we were friends
-walks by me a lot
-looks at me during lunch and science and language arts
-when working with an acid experiment in science, he's more playful and puts his hand over the fire and laughs(im in his lab group)
-takes my route to get to his classes
