Love is a thing, that allows you to take injuries. It sounds like you loved one before and were injured. It is not so much about "getting over" as it is "moving on" or "healing."
You should always consider talking to your spouse. Open yourself to the feeling that you have, so they you can heal. Deal with yourself. Love you husband. Pour yourself into him. That is your responsibility. After a while, you will have something stronger than you thought possible.

Well really you dont b/c it takes time. If you loved that person then it will never go away you'll just forget about it. You'll always have a place for them in your heart. But what you can do is make a list of bth of them one of your husband and one of your old flame. Good and bad stuff. And also no one really can help you be head over heel for your husband, thats your choice to do so.

Everyone is different, because there are no two people that have the same feelings and emotions. I know because I have been there and done that.
Some people will go years without getting over their old flame, and then some people never get over their ole flame.
It depends on the situation and circumstances of how you think of him/her.
I just wish you the best of luck, and have a happy holiday season.

In time.....sometimes you never fully get over them, but that doesn't mean you can't make plenty of room for your husband. Keep your good memories with the old flame, but make some new ones with your husband.

Get the book: The Power of A Praying Wife or either Love and Respect. If you truly want your marriage to work it will. Treat marriage like a plant. Do you have plants? Do you know anything about caring for them? Try getting a few and place them around the house.

As the saying goes " pull up your big girl panties" and get on with life. You're married now. Time to grow up. Put your old flame in your memory box, and move on.

Let it go, mate. It's just a fantasy that has been cooking away in your mind for years.
You'd be much better off channelling your energy into your wife who wants you for who you are now. Stop looking into the past for something that never was - look into the future!

you shouldn't be married to someone you are not in love with...
that is not fair to either of you...put the old flame out of your mind and concentrate on your relationship now....
