I went out with my husband and his friends the other night for some drinks at a local hangout. We all got pretty tipsy. I guess I was flirting pretty bad with one of his friends. I thought I was consoling his friend about his breakup with his girlfriend. His friend was feeling unattractive and lonely, so I was telling him that he's a good looking guy and I held his hand and listened attentively while he was telling me about the breakup.
The flirting got worse the more we drank. Nothing bad happened, but it left some weirdness in the air, especially because it was me doing all the flirting. My husband was upset after we got home that night, but he is kind of laughing it off now.
I don't want his friendship with this guy to go sour and I don't want my husband to think I'd stray from him. Other than apologising and never putting myself in that situation again, is there something else I should do or say to help things? or do I just let things be and hope it all goes away with time?
