The guy that I have been dating (for only about four months...)made these statements to me:
"You're smart, beautiful and have a beautiful personality. Any man would want to love you for a long time." (After I said I was surprised that he said he loved me.)

After I told him about my new pet dog he said:
"You live in a zoo. I'm not going to live in a zoo."
(We don't live together and have never talked about it).

He also has made casual comments about if I want to have children one day, what I would want if I got married, etc....These comments are all kinda freaking me out because I don't feel like we've been dating that long...

What are everyone's thoughts on this? By the way, he's in his late 20s and I'm 24.

I would say that's probably just his way of getting a heads up on the direction that you two are headed someday... not necessarily right now. Nothing to worry about in my opinion.

I wouldn't worry about it, Ive asked questions like that to girlfriends who I knew i would probably not live with or marry. Its just his way of getting to know what you are looking for in the long term. or maybe that's just me, he could be a total freak. You know him better then I do. I would say just don't read to much into it. He is clearly in it for the long term, I would imagine you should take that as a good thing.

The first two answers just by instinct made me think the guy is a real asshole hidding his real personality. The last statement is pretty serious, he already has imagined a future with you.
