I'm a 21 year old female and live in the UK. I have been going out with my boyfriend for a year. The relationship started out good and he was as nice as pie. But the last few months have been hell - he's been physically abusive, and once chucked a coffee table at me.

I would call the police but ...

My boyfriend is a copper.

What will happen to him, and his job, if I do this ?

If a women is in love with you & you have been friends for many-many years, would you want her to tell you ( both are separated from their spouses 1 for 10 yrs & 1 for 6 years ) OR would you rather things remain the same? You think telling himn would change the friendship ( I wouldnt want that ) We are not children 42 & 44 Have known each other since I was 16. We went on & had Families. 10 years ago we met up again on this box ( weird huh ) Have been talking on here & phone the whole time. new day, new problems. gosh, that is totally true!! well this time its about a guy, duh! theres this guy that i met through my cuzn. he's really sweet and we've been talking for a couple of days. well, just resently, my cuzn told me that he really likes me, but last night i was talking to his friend, and his friend said that he has a gf and that he said that he doesnt like me at all. i know that i should just call him and ask him, but i dont wanna seem like a pushy friend. whom should i believe?

A lot of our relatives that were staying with us for Thanksgiving left early to go back home. I of course was a little sad. Parting is so bittersweet for me. I also miss taking care of my guests and being a good hostess. Well, I cried a little bit and then my husband came up to me and put his arms around me and then my friend Jessica held my hand and cried with me. right there was this guy that i really liked and he chose my little sister over me which was really hard for me to accept and it was just horrible i hated it (my sister and this guy both knew i liked him)

But as u do most things i got over it moved on and the rest now i have this great bf that is lovely, but the problem is i saw him the other week and all my feelings came back now i can't get him out of my head..... well i also have a bigger problem im going to this pub thing next week and i have to see him there it is going to be horrible and i dnt no wot to do??

My x gal and I broke up about six months ago due to her boss liking me and I falling for lies that her boss was saying to me. However, my x gal did not date anyone during this time but lately she's been talking to her personal trainer, who flirts with all the woman. I am the girl he asked out. I know you will think I should be bother to ask. My friend told me about the question and there is only one son of a billionaire who is so arrogant.

He is a son of a billionaire and he is good looking. But he is arrogant. The only reason why I don't wanna sue him is cause of his family. They are soooo nice. His parents, brother and 4 sisters, all are nice. One of his sisters is my bestfriend.

He didn't buy me a BMW and a flat. It was his father who bought me. He treats me like a daughter.

I rejected him for 2 reasons.
1. He is arrogant. He even stopped going to college saying it is full of middle class people. He will never respect my family if I marry him.
2. He doesn't have 3 girlfriends but he has 30. He won't change after marriage and I don't want my husband to hang out with other ladies.

OK...my friend went out for the weekend to spend with his family. Last Wednesday I had a problem and end up in emergency surgery. I call him and left a message in his cell phone that I was in the hospital, so when he got out of class he returned my call. He told me I could call him during the weekend if I wanted to "chit-chat". So I call him TWICE. First I didn't leave a message, but the second time I did...although I kind of ramble a little because I was hook on codine. So now I would like to call him but...he didn't return my previous calls!!!

Should I call him? I feel like he stood me up! or maybe he was just busy with his family.

My parents have been pressurising me into marriage (i have been born & brought up in england), and they brought home some friend of a friends son, who is an indian national. I have always been dead against this sort of thing as I will never be able to trust someone like that - how do you know if they truly want to be with you, or if they just want a reason to stay in the uk? (yes, i have 'trust' issues)
however after i met this guy a few times, i actually think i like him!
So any advice would be appreciated - shall i stick to my original thoughts and avoid him at all costs before my feelings begin to develop further? has anyone been/or is in a similar situation??

How can we break the cycle ???I think we may just not be meant to be since we cant work it out even after therapy.We went to the same elemetary shcool.We became friends when i was 10 and him13 Anyway highschool we dated on and off but broke up when i was in my last year.We met up again when i was 19 in college i got pregnant and we married it was hell it lasted 2 years before we seperated and we divorced the next year.I graduated college and we tried again to make it work after 7 trys we remarried again.We have been married a 1 1/2 now and i am now 25 yrs old and he is 28.We cant agree on anything .Everything is a fight and we have a daughter.
