OK...my friend went out for the weekend to spend with his family. Last Wednesday I had a problem and end up in emergency surgery. I call him and left a message in his cell phone that I was in the hospital, so when he got out of class he returned my call. He told me I could call him during the weekend if I wanted to "chit-chat". So I call him TWICE. First I didn't leave a message, but the second time I did...although I kind of ramble a little because I was hook on codine. So now I would like to call him but...he didn't return my previous calls!!!
Should I call him? I feel like he stood me up! or maybe he was just busy with his family.

I should mention that he knew that I was ALONE during the holyday weekend...I guess I am disappointed of my friend. When he was sick..I took care of him.

just be patient with him and hear what he has to say. there might be a genuine reason, maybe he ddnt have any credit to call/ has something else going on in his life that he cant talk about. am sure there are times when you have wanted to be there for someone but have not managed to, thats life. however if you find out he was out having fun and really diddnt bother then you need to tell himm coz guys think different to girls so just let him know what you expect from him and he will know.

this question happens alot. I would wait a week before you call again. I wish he would call you. But if you call him now you will appear needy and he may feel too much commitment. If you wait a week, he may call and you can talk like normal.

Let him call you that is not cool no matter how BZ I am with my life I always called my friends when they got out of the hospital !

He may feel overwhelmed, or is just too busy. I think you should call one more time, and if he won't call you back, forget him!

Definitely call, but don't sound too needy. Keep it light and see where it goes.
