I had the same problem when I was younger... people always comparing me to my YOUNGER sister. lol I never blamed my sister though 'cause we were close (still are). One day, my mom was comparing us and I got pissed off and said something about it. I basically said it was bs that she was comparing us when we're two different people and that I don't compare her to her sisters (my aunts). After that, she shut her trap. Anyhoot, I love my sister, but even with all the comparison when we were younger (my sister was more outgoing than me, I'm the shy type), we still took different routes in our life. I went to college, moved near nyc from OK.... sister had a child at 19, dropped out of college, married guy (not son's father), always says she hates her husband. I love my sister and my nephew. You just need to make your life better. Use it as "revenge".

well every siblings are compared by the family
its so lame i know
and as hard it sounds u will survive
u don't have to look like ur sis
u don't have to be the same like her
u don't have to be anything any one wants ya to be
do what so ever ya like to do because eventually ya will move
out of ur family house
and will live wit ur own
so work on what ya like and stand what so ever is being said
to u whether u r better or ur sis is
because believe me it should make no difference
but one important thing
don't hate ur sister for it
eventually she's ur sister
so if they say ur sis is hot.say ya agree she is n ya wish to be like her
if they say yar sis is brainiac say yes i envy her for being braniac
i am not tellin ya to be a hypocritic but just flow as wit the river

I know its hard but you just have to make a name for yourself. show people that you can do better then your sister.

just say thank you and smile. If they really want to know you they will get involved with your life and ask about you. Until that happens all you can do is say thanks and move on.
