You don't explain much about the circumstances of the 'turn downs'. Even so, you have to remember that lots of people are already in relationships or are not really looking for anything serious. And, never rule out an unlucky streak.
Step back & evaluate what you really want and how your going about getting it. Are you trying to hard? Is there anything about your attitude or appearance which the guys might not be attracted to? Do you have a bad rep? Do you smoke when most of them don't?
Take time just to hang out & have fun. Don't push to hard. Watch what other guys and girls do. Switch up the wardrobe. Switch tactics. Try checking things out in a different setting than your used to (parks, hiking, go to a sports game with some friends, try out for a sport, join a club).
Stay positive! Most people can sense when you're on edge.

it seems that the best ones are either taken or not interested until you have someone else, then they come out of the woodwork seems like. don't give up on yourself. it's always a blow to selfesteem when you get turned down for anything let alone trying to get a date. take some time to collect yourself, maybe try another approach or find more about the guy before putting yourself out there like that. i do have to say i admire your character by getting out there most girls just sit by wondering why no one talks to them or asks them out. you have the advantage by letting the guys know your there... it's just a dry spell

Your probably coming on too strong and scare them away. A lot of guys like a little competition, so play a little hard to get once in a while and have them guessing what really is on your mind.

There is a book called the rules, its in paperback and it gives great ideas on how to find a loved one. Its absolutely great, if you follow these rules, which is basically being hard to get, you will find a loving and caring partner.

Perhaps you have a reputation for asking out so many guys, be a bit more discreet, act like you don't care and they will suddenly become keen.....
