I've never bought a present for a guy before so i don't know what to get him. He's 16 and he's athletic and he's also into cars but i don't wanna get him something stupid or something that i don't know anything about either.

The best way to deal with this is just to ASK him what he wants. And get it. Hey, it may not be a surprise. But atleast you will know that he likes it. And atleast you know he wont be in the Customer Service Line at Walmart for returns 2 hours after you bought it for him!

Get him something that you KNOW he'll like....
(ie. something sports-related, car-related, etc.)... but get something that YOU CAN BOTH enjoy. That is key.
If you get him something that he is going to induldge every breathing second of his life in, you're not going to be a very happy camper!
Think of something... game wise. or maybe a place? .. Does he have a favorite football team? Basketball team? ... Try getting tickets to his favorite sports team game...

get him something simple but not to simple but still something nice like chocolate or like something like that first make sure that he is getting u something because you will make him embarased and then you should buy him something according to his interests like you said he likes cars so get him like something that goes w// that

if possible you could try to get him a key chain that has hearts or your initials or even yours and his initials in hearts i think thats what i'd get him but if thats to "intimate" or whatever get him a polo or something nice....
