Do i ask her or do i hold her by the waist and snog or what

2006-11-25 05:28:57 · 16 answers · asked by Daniel 1 in Singles & Dating

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3.5 months. We have a great relationship; he's the only person I've ever met that I literally can spend an entire day with and not run out of things to say. Even though he's 23 and I'm 22, I've dated a lot more in the past than he has. In fact, he's only had one other serious girlfriend (he dated her for 3 years and then he broke up with her over the summer). I'm the only other girl he's ever been in love with. Recently, he found out that his ex is dating someone else, which really bothers him. She lives in MN, and he and I live in VA. He told me he's afraid he might still have feelings for her. I think he's probably just jealous that some other guy might be taking his place, which I think is anatural reaction. However, my bf says he needs to see his ex over winter break to be sure. Clearly, a relationship between them would never work out now (he doesn't want to move back to MN). But, I'm still scared. What can I do to keep him?

I'll keep this as short as possible: We meet, hit it off real big. Things go great for a few months. She starts to go distant. Hot and cold for a while. We talk. She says she is always like this. OK, I have heard the, "It's not you, it's me" thing, you know what I assume. But things stay hot and cold. We start getting closer, she starts to push away. Up and down, like a yo yo. I start to push a little, figured it's only a matter of time that the "truth" comes out. We keep talking, she keeps saying the same thing though. I let up some, but the back and forth drives me nuts, just totally plays on every insecurity I ever had, and I back off some, push some. WTF? Finally occurs to me that she really meant what she said, something big and bad in her past. But now I've pushed her further away (not gone, but on a "break"). If I explained this to you, what would you say? I mean, what should I have thought? I have to look out for me, and who hasn't heard that line before?

I have a crush on a male/guy friend or coworker at work. At first, I thought he was interested in me since he would tease me and flirt with me a lot. He would even send me emails that contained romantic songs and kept asking if I had a bf. Then I told him, that I liked him and he told me he has a gf. I tell myself that he is unavailable and that we can still be friends. Sometimes I email him at work, but then he told me that I should stop emailing him since he was getting the impression that I was sending him a lot of emails because I like him. I know he isn't the one for me since he's in luv with someone else and we are too different anyway. But then sometimes I cry in the middle of the night about him. He still teases me throughout the work day, by making funny faces, but I kinda prefer he stop. What should I do about my feelings for him? Remember, I see him at work everyday, and our desks are situated close to each other, so we are bound to run into each other

Do you think it is proper for a woman to instigate the idea of love making to a guy when she feels ready to?.....who she has newly met, and she thinks is so hot, that she is more than ready to do the deed, or should she wait for the man to put the idea forward.......let me know your thoughts on this..............

So what to do if if it's not hurtin or feelin good!!
I don't want to fake and make pretend sounds of pain or satisfaction!!

Why do Most Christian-American women have Sex Before Marriage?

I am Muslim, African-American woman, and I truly do respect Christians-- as most of my family members are Christian..
But I notice that the majority of women in America who consider themselves Christian-- do have sex before marriage. I'm not talking about women who are "out there" or "promiscuous". But even church going women will live with their husbands before marraige, and have "long term relationships" involving sex.. I also notice the same trend among Christian men. This is very common today.

I don't judge people who have sex before marriage at all--But I notice that when Christian women ask me why I dont "have a boyfriend" (in a sexual relationship)--they will get upset or ridicule me when I say I dont believe in Sex Before Marriage.

Why have most American Christians become very accepting of sex before marriage?

He leaves the room when he is on the phone ... he will not let me see it ... he believes that his phone is "private and personal". I have always trusted him and do not believe he is having an affair but it really hurts my feelings ... I feel that as a couple you should be open and honest. I have no problems with him using or reviewing my cell-phone. I have nothing to hide. Thoughts?

Every year I dread the holidays from Thanksgiving through New Year. I guess it has to do with being an spoiled only child and then my parents got a divorce so then Christmas meant airplane rides.
Now, I am 35 with 3 kids. My son who is 17 understands what I mean, been divorced from his dad since my son was 2. My husband of the past 12 yrs and father of my 2 girls ages 9 and 10, has a a big wonderful family who all get together and embrace the holiday spirit. I NEVER want to be a part of the get togehers but hubby makes me go and it never fails that I get angry and end up hating all of them. My son feels the same way. One of the bigger cousins picks on the girls and I get MAD and they tell the mom who does nothing to her kids. My nephew smarts off to me and I get sooo mad I leave with the kids. Then hubby gets mad at me.?
He says that I am wrong. I have explained to my mother in law but she says its all family and we all have to get along. Shouldn't me and my kids be more important?

My parents tend to try to make decisions for me...yes, I'm bordering 20 years old, but I want to visit my boyfriend in New Jersey. His family and all his friends want to meet me, and I want to see him(i miss him!!) and thats where I want to go for Christmas. It will be a cheap flight because Im a college student. My parents have not met him, and it's all for several reasons because they dont like him and don't really approve of me being with him...so he and I decided to wait until he moves here in January and just get it over with. But I want to go spend like a week with him, I really do...but my mom is already making plans about "I'll drive you to see you grandma and grandpa." I can drive myself, and maybe I want to see my boyfriend for a week before I go spend the other 3 weeks with my grandparents. They assume, and I think they will give me a problem about seeing him. How do I approach it? Do I ask or tell them I'm going? What do I do?
