Feelings are going to be hurt no matter what. You know him better than any of us. You have to be honest, He will respect you more for that even though he will be hurt. Tell him you have enjoyed your relationship but feel you must move on and would love to remain friends if he would like to. Tell him what you feel about him. Start off with the positives you find in him, but get to the point. If it isn't meant to be, it isn't meant to be at this time. Tell him you really like him and you really didn't want to hurt his feelings and you are saddened to. You don't want to hurt him further by being in this relationship that you have no more boyfriend/girlfriend feelings for him, just true friendship feelings. Good luck to you.

feelings will always get hurt with a break up. the best thing you can do with a break up is to tell him the truth and be honest why you are breaking up with him. if you jst say "oh i dont want to be together anymore" and nothing else. he will always be wondering what went wrong. what did he do....ect. but being honest with bring closure to him and possibly work on whatever he needs to for his next relationship. but everyone will always get hurt. just be honest with him. that all you really can do.

Unfortunatly there is no way. The best thing you can do is be upfront an honest with him. I don't know what your reasons are for breaking up with him but just tell him the truth...it's always better then being lied to.

1) it will take a bit of time ... for not answering him
2) or tell him that ur are moving from the city for a while
3) or to be obvious and that will be the best way
take care

theres no "kind" way to dump someone
just try a short but simple line
like: its not you its me.
you know some thing that hes heard that wont send him in a loop
and under al costs avoid saying "we need to talk"

there is no way to do it. No matter what you do or say it will still hurt them. I am sorry but that is the way life is. Try explaing why you are dumping him though

that's never gonna happen so get it over with so the person can heal. that's reality. however, for what its worth your a good person for not wanting to hurt someone.
