Recently my daughter, who is pretty, responsible, has a firm grasp on morality, etc @ 19 , was being made fun of, being called old maid...prude...gay...etc..says to the "girls" who were doing it,
"Well ladies, and I use that term lightly, I could be what you are, I could have what you have in about 15 - 30 minutes ! but you can never have what I have"..

As she relayed this to me, I was extremely proud of her. I shared this with a few friends, 2 of which felt that mu daughter had been rude, or arrogant..Someone tell me, how that was rude or arrogant? My frinds must be jealous! Your thoughts?

My fiancé and I have been engaged for awhile, and we set the wedding date 6 months ago. One of my girl friend started to date one of our friends several months ago. They recently got engaged and they set their wedding date the weekend after mine. Is it just me or is it odd to set the wedding date the weekend after mine?

We stay at her mothers house over the weekend for her father's Birthday> I was surprise to find a letter from a bank mailed to her moms house? It had ruffly $51 K in it. I asked her where all that money came from and she told me I owed it to her?????What ??Back in 1995 We used$ 71,000 to pay off All our debts so we could be debt free going into marriage. Most of what we paid off was my debt. That was 90% her money! She never told me she felt that way....about the money.. I transfer the rest of the money to make it to 71k and now I am controlling all our our different accounts...I am afraid if I wound not of caught her it would be 100k in 2 more year and just grow and grow. The only word for that is Stealing!!! I make all the money and she is a stay at home mom. and has never worked since we got married... She has her 71k nofw and she can use it any way she likes....

DO YOU THINK IT IS STEALING FOR YOUR HUSBAND OR WIFE TO BE PUTTING MONEY AWAY WITHOUT YOU KNOWING???

I am a divorced mom of a wonderful 3 yr. old girl and couldn't imagine life without here. She is an absolute joy to have around and is always making me laugh with the crazy things she comes up with. The problem is... I feel guilty about sometimes missing my single childless days when I could come and go as I please. I feel just aweful for feeling this way, but the feelings come and go at certain times. I sometimes envy my friends when they are able to sleep in or go out at nights with no planning or notice.

Is this a normal feeling or am I being selfish in my emotions. This is the first time I have been a single mom and this is all still a little new to me. I have been divorced for a little over a year. Any suggestions would be great...thanks.

I'm a volunteer at a nursing home. How can I develop a relationship with my assigned partner?

The docors have me on anti-depressants,nerve pills somas and high blood pressure meds. They say it's stress. Not only from work but also from thigs going on at home such as dealing witha teen age step daughter that doesn't want mearound and tryng to keep peace between her dad and her mom because her mom lets her do or see anyone she wants to. The girl is only 13 and the last guy was 25. I feel like I'm in the way and I've given up trying to talk. I try taking her shopping or letting her have friends over but she doesn't want friends her age and sadly to say most of them don't want to hang with her because of her attitude. The latest thing is a belly button ring and a tatoo. I'm so tired of hearing her whine about everyone else has one that I told her dad do what he thought best. His answer is no but her moms is she thinks it would look cool. I'm from the old school and try to act my age so I think no but my opinion doesn't seem to matter. Her grades are terrible d'sand f's What do I do

My mother in law seems to understand whenever I talk to her, but then she keeps to doing the same rubbish again. She has always been a housewife and her husband was the decision maker. She has no interests, no hobbies, etc. She lets all her frustration out on my husband. She is patronizing and treats us like children, when we visit, she tells him how useless he is,etc.
How can I get her interested in things so that she can have her own life and we our life back? I really like her, but for the past 5 years she has been a pain in the back, patronizing us and invading our privacy. (She has always been a control freak and is a bit innocent when it comes to relationships, so she won't look for a partner, etc.)

Is it because being the "herpes girl" is less destructive to the girl's sex life then being the "herpes guy" would be to the guy's sex life?

i haven't been physically violent, or abused her in anyway, although i have dropped behind on my maintenance by quite a high amount due to not having a proper job for 6 months. I have one now, and am paying her off, but because she has just got married, she is broke and demanded it all, when that wasn't the agreement. Not my fault she got married, or that she spent my kids money on her wedding..what happens next?

I have been dating this person for 7 weeks(we have spoke about anything and everything, and connect alot), we stopped contact with eachother for a couple of days, because we had a disagreement. During those couple of days, I started to hang out more with my girlfriends, we would go out for some expresso/coffee at times after work and stuff, and he was under the impression that I was spending free time with other guys. He called me last nite, we started to talk about "us" in a deep/serious way, and we both expressed that we missed eachother of those days of not speaking with one another, slowly he started to say that "he is falling in **** with me". I stopped him for a sec, because he didnt complete the sentence. I asked that if he is "falling in love with me" and he said yes! and spoke the 3 magical words to me. During the time we were dating, before last night – he wouldn’t express much of how he felt(he was playing hard to get), I think he noticed that I will ignore and move on, if he didn’t start pull the weight on his end. Yes! I do got strong feelings for him, and I do love him too -- been waiting for him to say it first, coz he never expressed his feelings. By the way – I am 30 and he is 36, we both are divorced and have children of our own, he has 3 kids and I have 1 child My question is, when he said that he loves me, was it coz out jealousy or did he really meant it. How can you tell?

Married 13+ years. He recently lost his job of 8 years and has NOT been looking for another one AT ALL. He watches TV all day, maybe tinkers with things. He's also an alcoholic. He's not violent, just goofy and forgetful when he's drinking. Also, the affection is about nill. It seems that it's become a birthday present for me the last 3 years. Yes, annually is ALL. We have a teenage daughter, too. I just want to be happy again.

We're both pretty skint (i'm a student and hes just graduated) so our visits are minimal. I've thought of a couple of nice things I can do for him, but I was wondering if you guys had any good ideas that I might not have thought of? please help I really love him and i want this to last.
