ok so i just got out of a relationship.... and i know that im starting to rush it to soon but this guy i had met at a bar liked me when i was single and then i got back with my ex and he was willing to fight him for me well i broke up with my ex cause he was an abusive alcoholic and so now i tried giving this other guy the time of day and now it like he is trying to play hard to get and im to the point of just giving up cause there is many more fish in the sea. is it true that :" u want what u can't have and when u can have it you don't want it no more"? what do i do?? im so aggravated and just trying to move on from my ex.

OK, I have been browsing this web-site for years. I've noticed a lot of the people out here seem to be quite young, I am 41 and so I am looking for some advice from the more mature set of browsers out there.

For the last two years I have been fighting a huge crush I have on one of my co-workers and best friends. We have talked about it a few times and he has told me that he just doesn't feel "a spark" I guess that's the attraction thing. However, whenever I try to move on, spend less time with him, etc. he seems to reach out to me more and more like he wants me to keep wanting him even though he doesn't feel the same way back. Also, I've been working on losing weight for the last four years and have lost over 100 lbs. I have 30 more to go. I sometimes wonder if he is waiting for me to become "an acceptable size" to pursue. I really love him although I try to move on and I see him at work so zero contact id hard. It hurts that he doesn't want me but why won't he let me go?

but he is really a nice person, has manners, chivilarious, treats you with respect, great smile, takes care of himself, financially sound and stable, but some of his characteristics are kind of off the wall, a little embarrassing at times and are not attracted physically to him. Or would you try to find someone who is more what you are looking for? This is just general question, to see how people pick their partners or stay in a relationship like this one.

Yesterday was the epitome of awful for me. To sum it up, my ex husband told me he wants to give up all rights to our daughters (in not such nice words). When I called my bf of 7 months to talk out my thoughts...he said he would try to come over later for me. When I called again at 9, he said he "would have to pass" and he was pretty busy. I really needed some emotional support from someone who says they love me...but he passed. I was extremely hurt but told him it was no big deal. After crying myself to sleep (I'm racked with guilt for bringing my two beautiful, innnocent daughters into this world with a man who treats them like yesterdays garbage) I awoke this morning thinking maybe I expected too much from my bf this soon. But it has been a long time since I dated and I don't know what is going on!!! Any ideas on how I can approach this subject with the bf w/o starting a fight?

My wife celebrated her birthday two days ago. I had some roses delivered to her job. As of today she has yet to even say thank you for the flowers. She found time to text me on the day before her birthday to let me know her mother would be picking her up on Wednesday after work. I'm sure she even had time to spoke to her mother on Wednesday, but didn't even make time to call me to say thank you. Should I just leave the matter alone and not say anything or should I confront about this? I consider this a total "slap in my face."

Well, i know its not a good idea to think about someone else when u r having kids and r married. i just dont know how should i stop myself.I tried meditation,tried to keep myself busy but nothing works out.Temporarily,it just goes out of my head and after some days it comes back.My husband never appreciates me whatever i do for him,when i talk to him he does not respond properly.I just dont like the way he behaves.I try to help him out if he has a problem with something.When i talk to him he will show me that he is very busy with kids,but then he will say that he is listening to me.When i ask him what did i say he doesn't knows anything.
I feel so bored at times that i feel like running away.Well what should i do, i dont understand.How can i stop thinking about this other guy,please help me.Just wanna get out of this!!!!!!!!!

I order books/items to have it deliver every now and then. Usally the packages are left on my door step by ups/fedex, but my neighbor keeps grabbing it and letting me know about it days later. I have to admit in the begining that I've told her to hold it if until I get home . But now I've told her to just leave it, but she won't listen. What should I do?

and lack of exercise.I have tried buying helathy foods,of just cutting down on the portions of foods he's eating ,he refuses to do it 'because he just love food too much".I have tried everything talking to him, buying the healthy food and fixing smaller portions and he just does not seem to care (he says he's not depress) I'm starting to feel extremly resentful towards him for letting himself go and expecting me to accept it just because we're married,for some reason he thinks once your married you have to take whatever your partner dishes out.I'am starting to feel extremely resentful towards him. what can I do to stop this now,Before I jump off the fence.( if it was do to illness i would be ok But this is controlable)

I have notice that alot of answers on here are cold and heartless. I will admit that some of the questions are off the wall, but to that person it is not. It seems that some take pride in hurting a soul that is down, or putting out the light in a spirit that wants to shine with alittle help.
