I would stop thinking about it so much. Guys pick up on that vibe and it scares them silly.
Get involved in a hobby or activity that you really enjoy (Dancing, sports, political group, etc.) and just jump into it. You'll meet people who have similar interests. When you focus on the fun, you'll meet someone who has similar interest, or someone that has a friend that might be ideal. The focus, however is on you enjoying your life. People will see that and gravitate toward you, and you'll attract someone you have something in common with.
When I lost the cloud over my head (from wishing for Mr. Right), I gained a very attractive halo. That's how I met my husband.

Stop expecting the 'perfect relationship'!
I am sure you do have a lot to offer the 'right guy', but if you dream about a relationship or a 'right guy' you are actually putting requirements on love and that is counter productive.
Realize that true love is unconditional, it is always giving and never needing or taking. It is about connecting and always learning more about someone. It is about accepting someone for all of their flaws.
Finding the right guy is a lot easier if you are COMPLETELY secure with being alone, and being alone for as long as it takes. You feel happier about yourself and that is the most sexy thing a girl can do. Again, The most sexy thing a girl can do. If you date and are looking for the 'right guy', dating is going to be more dissapointment than reward, which will breed a negative attitude. So date and focus on really getting to know some one, and not interviewing for Mr. Right.

I know the feeling and I keep thinking to myself, men are like parking spots, all the good ones are already taken and the rest are handicapped. It makes me laugh but seems like the truth. I do not have a good answer for you because I always find myself in the same position. I totally love and will do anything for the guy I am with now but commitment is not one of his good attributes. I really want to settle down and it seems like the impossible thing to do. I keep telling myself when the time is right it will happen.
One place I have found tons of great guys is at the gym. I do not know if you work out but joining a gym is good in two ways, it keeps you fit and healthy and there tons of fit men there.

Stop thinking about it. Try the online thing. But most importantly do your best to concentrate on you. You don't need someone to make you whole. If you are confident about yourseof and where you are in life and not obsessing about being alone someone will be drawn to that. They will think hey she really has it together. You won't seem needy or desperate.
I have so many girlfriends that waste too mush of their time obsessing about it when they could be just enjoying life. You're missing out, trust me.

Not missing but there is always competition for good men and women both....
The better the man, the more girls want him..
Highly qualitfied girls go after Very good men...
Beauty is a womans most obvious value..
Wealth & Power is a mans most obvious value...
Mens looks are often secondary to great wealth or power...
Bottom line, go where wealthy men are to be found..
High dollar Automobile shows & auctions..
Use the Internet....

Try different places to meet men. Also, don't go looking...the right one will come along. Take care of yourself physically and mentally. Be strong, confident and interesting. If you do all that you'll find a good mate in no time.

Seriously, work on your attitude. There are plenty of good men out there. Keep looking and make some effort not to get bitter and twisted.
