Well! There are 3 types of peoples living around us.
First one is those who has suffered some pain or lost something which was very important to their life. Due to which they got change in their personality & start helping other so that they don't suffer same consequences.
Second one are those who also suffered some pain or lost something important, due to which they start living in their own world & cut out from outside of their world. They see everyone else like their biggest enemies & don't want anyone to come close to them.
Third and last ones are those who have not suffered or lost anything in their life yet. They live for today, don't take lessons from their past & don't cares about their future. Someone's pain is nothing for them & they want to enjoy everything no matter if it’s hurting someone or not.
All 3 kinds of these peoples may don't like each other's way of life. But life goes on so keep going. Ask question even if you don't get any answer. Answer others question no matter they look at it or not. But keep hopes high. You'll get to the right point somehow...

I think you are right about the cold and heartless responses on Answers. I get annoyed with people who pose bigoted, racist or hateful questions and then respond with sarcasm. Some categories seem to produce more hateful responses than others. For pure vitriol, check out the Politics category! It's awful! I find that when people pose heartfelt questions (even if they are ungrammatical and misspelled) I will provide a hearfelt answer. Even off the wall questions (if it's intent is not to harm others) I will answer authentically as well. I agree with you that "killing someone's spirit" with an offensive answer is obnoxious. But I also believe strongly in karma- so for the rude respondents it's just a matter of "what goes around comes around". To put it another way, their toxicity will come back and haunt them in some other phase of their lives...

You will get a lot of young kids or adults on here that are not taught manners or respect. I think some parents have gotten away from teaching the basics in life. Leave it up to the schools they say. I would never as a kid or young adult even think about disrespecting my elders like they do today. It was just unheard of and I would of had a sore rear end if I did. It is sad what this society is amounting too. People just can't seem to find the time to teach basic like respect, proper love, compassion, love for one another. I guess you learn to turn a deaf ear to those that bring you down. I feel sorry for those (like me) that will possibly need care and help when I get to be an elder and to have some of the nasty kids in charge of our government. I just hope and pray that the good ones fall into the right cracks.

You are absolutely right. People today feel uncomfortable with questions of a serious nature. First of all most people have trouble with intimacy, and find it hard believing anyone could be that down. I know in my own experience with life, true emotions make most people uneasy, so when a person gets disturbed by something, they joke about it, or try to make the other person feel bad, that way they don't have to deal with it. Don't worry about it, just keep asking your questions, you will run into many people that are true to themselves, therefore will be true to you.

I wish that I knew. I have come to the conclusion that those people are just mean or maybe have low self-esteem. You know how there were the bullies back in elementary? They just never grew out of it.
Think of it this way. THEY are the ones that have to live with themselves and their actions.
Hope you have a great day!

Maybe people are tired of being "politically correct" and want to stand up for some moral code again. I am tired of low moral people crabbing about their messed up life and wanting a simple one line solution to get out of their mess. We need more tuff love if you ask me (and you did)

I think that's because no one cares about them and they are in pain so they have to lash out at others to make them selves feel better
