My husband knows that I've wanted to have a baby but he doesn't. So just to reassure him, I take my birth control pill in front of him because I got pregnant with my first child while i was on the pill and I don't want my husband to think i did this behind his back. I have been irregular for a long time now and switched brands on my pill. my husband knows all of this. If I am pregnant, I'm scared to death he is going to think I planned it behind his back and I didn't. How would you handle this? Thanks.

I have a girlfriend whom I've known for several years. At the time we met we shared similar life situations which is why I feel we were comfortable with each other's company. However, over the past year I feel that I have grown personally and that she has still many things to work on about herself, which has left me feeling that we have very little in common. I am currently building a new circle of friends (as is she) and I feel it's time to move on but I don't know how to do that gracefully. Any ideas?

So, I recently started dating someone I vaguely knew in high school. We're both close to 40 now. I've never been married and she is recently divorced. We started talking on the phone and things have progressed very quickly. I haven't really had anything to distrust her about and I am thinking about marriage down the road. I know her past relationships have been rocky, due to her low self esteem and bad choices in men. She spent the last few years cleaning up her life and getting out on her own. She says that I'm different than any guy she ever knew before. Part of me wants to just go with it, but another part says "check out her past!".

What do you think?

My wife and I have been married for 11 years and have a great relationship. She lived in Georgia her whole life and I lived there for 12 years, we were less than 30 minutes away from both sets of parents and had many friends. I was offered a great opportunity in Texas and we made the decision to take it. I have been here over a year and my family just moved out 4 months ago. She is very unhappy as we have unfriendly neighbors and since she does not work outside of the home she is all alone all day. We get along great, it just kills me to see her so down. Anyone experience something similiar and got any ideas?

my homecoming date has a bad reputation for asking out and getting rejected by nearly every girl in school. we're friends, and we went to the dance as friends, but at both the dance and game he was getting way too close and putting his arm around me and touching my face and back (and my friends too, but mostly me) and picking me up and he wouldnt leave me alone.
he seems kind of sweet, (most of the time) but becasue of his reputation and other things (above) im not sure if i should even consider going out with him.
he went to the dance in a limo (yeah, a lot much for freshman homecoming) with some of our other friends, and his friend told me that he turned down making out with this other girl in the limo, but my friend tells me that he was trying to make out with her.
based on what ive said about the guy is my friend telling the truth, and does this guy like me or does he just want a girlfriend?

I have a wonderful 13 year old son named Steven, who is just the joy of my life. For the past few months, he's been a penpal with an older 49 year-old gentleman named Walter who's currently encarcerated in the Alabama State Prison. I think my son got Walter's address off of one of those prison penpal websites.

He and Walter have become fast and dear friends, they write to each other all the time. In fact, the other day Steven told me that Walter wants him to visit him at the prison. I think this would be a great opportunity to meet his friend.

The only problem is that I can't drive Steven 60 miles to the prison. I have a demanding career at the Piggly-Wiggly and can't take the time off (I'm a single-mom). Steven told me that he could take the bus, but I'm just afraid that he's too young to ride all that time by himself on a bus.

I'm afraid he'll get lost, poor darlin-heart. Do y'all think that a 13 year old is old enough to ride the bus alone for 2+ hours?
