Would not offend me at all. It's perfectly natural. It can actually be worked into be a really fun part of your sex life together as well as something that's fun alone......

I wouldn't buy his line (about doing it to help his "stamina" / "staying power"), because that could be but a cheap, easy cop-out line, to weasel himself out of an explanation...
However, by experience, I myself most of the time don't mind (or even enjoy it!) when my BF (hubby) masterbates. I rarely did catch him (he's usually very discreet) but when I did, I always though it was a kinky turn on! Only once did I just walk past and said to him "See you later!" without stoppping by to say "Hello" to the little fellah!
But then again, I am far from being considered "normal" for a "typical" woman, and my sexual open-ness usually distraughts other females as well as most males!
