My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 1/2 years. I love him dearly. The only issue we have between us is his parents. We are both 26, but he is an only child. He still lives at home because his parents guilt him into not moving out. They would have noone to take care of them etc. They are older, in their 60s, but I am fairly independent with my own place etc. Long story short, they don't want their "baby" really having a girlfriend, but we both know that isn't realistic. I have a hard time being polite to them when I call or when I'm over there since I know they really don't like me. It's not that they don't like me, they don't like any girl with their only son. Has anyone gone through this or have any advice for me? We have broken up before, but we love eachother and want to be together. I appreciate any feedback or advice. Thank you!!

Alright if you read some of my history I've been dealing with this girl for a while now.

Well the day I chose to tell her how much I cared and how much I liked her she was asked out by another guy. She had a pretty good idea how much I cared about her obviosuly having her on my plan and being there with her everyday, and calling eachother all the time I would've guessed she liked me too.

Well she ended up telling me no and that she needed time. Then she ended up dating this other guy who her friends told me she had been waiting for.

Now I was so angry and hurt when she took him I told her I can't be with you anymore it hurts to much I really liked you but I can't understand why you took a guy who did nothing for you over someone who was willing to do everything.

I still like her alot and I got really ****** up one day and I called her up to apoligize for leaving. That same day she found out her boyfriend had cheated on her the first day they went out. Should I even try?

ok my landlord just stopped by. We didn't have the money to pay for rent so he said I(thinking the wife) had to give it up or get out a new place to stay. ok this is confusing so bare with me. ok so i told this one guy L as we'll call him that i like this one guy S as we'll call him. so i went to this one party where S was and he said that he knew that i liked him and his friend said that L told him. so i texted L and told him i was mad at him for telling S that i like him. so then L said that it wasnt him. then L texted S and said that he was mad at him for telling me that L told S that i like him. so the long and short of it all is that S and L are mad at eachother all because of me. what should i do? A family member and close friend of mine married the wrong man (he cheated before and after marriage and is an all around jerk). She had a child too soon (because he was the wrong man to marry, much less have a child with him). Now I know she is miserable (she wears her wedding ring sometimes) and has been married for almost 6 years. I know she's with him for the money. Neither of them are rich but with combined income she can afford a lifestyle that would certainly change if she left. My mother says I am not a good friend since I never told her how I felt. I don't like to offer unsolicited advice because women rarely take that advice and will hold your concern for their well being against you. Is it wrong to not say anything? I am happily married and I wouldn't want her to think I am just trying to break her marriage up.

i started a new job recently as an apprentice and i have a huge crush on my boss.
the problem is that my boss is a woman. i have never had feelings for another woman before and now i'm really confused. when i'm at work i want to be with her and when i'm not there i'm thinking about her.

What do I do about this?
I'm a sophomore in college and at the beginning of this semester my best friend and I started dating and he became my bf. We have known each other for over a yr now. But I told him we had no romantic chemistry together (when we kissed it was awkward and not very good) he agreed and said that he'd been meaning to talk to me about it. Well it has been less than a wk since that talk and I have realized that I got too attached to him bc now I have no close friends and I miss terribly. I'm a very shy person and I think I may have social anxiety. I know I didn't like my friend but now all I can do is think about him and how it makes no sense that he would go from completely liking me and hanging out with me every day to not even calling me now. I did call him and we talked but things aren't the same.Now i seem 2 clingy! Could he had been lying about no longer liking me? Was it just lust? and What can I do to find friends here in campus? Any tips or comments
