She's at an age right now where she isn't a little girl anymore, but she's not a big girl either. She's going through some major changes emotionally and physically. You will not know how to talk to her for a while until you both adapt to the new person she's becoming.

She is startin to go through that teenage faze. I am 18, and I amstill goint through it. She just needs her space. Let her be alone. If she wants to stay in her room all of the time, let her do it. Girls need time to themselves. Also try not to be ill with her, and try to calmly talk to her instead of yelling at her when she does something wrong. It will just P*** her off and make her rebellious. My dad was ill with me and growled at me a lot and it just made things worse. Have a little patience, and things will work out better, I promise. And try to remember that she is growing up. She is making a lot of new changes in her life that are different and she is probably having a hard time dealing with it.

She's 12. It's what they do. She'll get over it in about 5 years. Hopefully.

Just remember all the things you did to your parents when she gets on your nerves. Also remember, these things will pass. She won't be a teenager forever.

She's your daughter. Be a real parent and just be there for her when she needs you.
