My son has a pimp *** attitude, what can i do to change his way of thinking? Help.

Stay in his business. Don't give up and pray. If you make it difficult for him to maintain this attitude, then you can make head way. You have to understand that he's not going to be happy about it. My son's father has the same attitude, but he is a man. I can't control him, but he has no access to my son. Period. He can call me what ever and say what ever, but I will not allow my son near him until he changes. However long it will take. If your son is a minor, that means you can actually limit things more. Don't buy into the hip and popular until he changes his attitude. If that means no Air force ones, no fronts, or chains or what ever his particular thing is, then don't buy it. You hve to be strong enough to limit him. I wish more parents would be willing to ask wht to do. I live near alot of teens. most of them are out late at night, and I wonder where their parents could possibly be. See if there are some positive groups you can get him in, that are for young people trying to stay safe. Like at church. It seems when they re surrounded by peers with the oppsite attitude that have fun, they start to change. Check out his current friends. If they have the same attitude, limit his contact with them, buy replacing it with the positive teens.

tel him he will eventually need to settle down and girls are like buses they come and go, so if he dont start droppin down and being more serious he aint getting no where in life except maybe aids or STDs
