ok, so the girl i liked has moved on and found herself a boyfriend. i'm happy for her. best of luck to her. i'm moving on but i need some advice so i don't end up like this again.

i know the best way to get to know a girl is to approach her and just say hi. but what am i suppose to do once that opportunity is no longer there? if the girl showed signs of interests but i have already failed to act upon it when the chance was there, how can i approach her afterwards? if the relationship between the two of us is already at that weird stage where we make eye contact but don't say anything. if she knows that i exist and i know she exists. but i didn't do anything about it ealier on. to approach her and pretend like it's the first time seeing her is a lie i cannot do. to approach her and say something like "can we start over" sounds too random. or am i just thinking too much? do girls even think about a guy who hasn't spoken to her yet?

i know i should avoid this completely, but what if?

My grandma is coming down from Vegas for a business trip and she want to see me and my brother...we use to live with her and when we moved back with our mom, we didnt really leave on really good terms...now im stuck having to see her on sunday cuz my brother called her...grr...and he made the plans and he didnt want to go alone, so of course im gonna go with him, but i dont want to.

My bf and I have been together for over 3 years and get along awesome even though we are so different. I'm the type of person who will try anything once but he's very much set in his ways. I'm into the arts, outdoors and would rather sip wine at a cozy resturant. He's the total opposite...football, beer and bars and watching tv and movies. I've gone to football games with him and enjoyed myself, I'll go to a bar for a bit and I love movies just like he does. But the moment I ask him to go to an art gallery with me, he puts up a fuss. For example, we're going away for the weekend and there's a few galleries I want to check out and maybe do some hiking. He thinks that all art is the same and is afraid to get lost (I have wildernes survival training, so I'm not worried about that). He critizies something before ever trying it, I guess he's closed minded in that sence. How can I get him to comprimise and try something that I enjoy and who knows he may actually like it?

There's this guy i met on the net about a year ago, or more.. We've been talking online since then, and he said that he likes me. He lives half a world away from me, but comes to my country for work in every few months. He's here in my country now, and wants to get together/meet up before he leaves. He's always there for me when i email him my problems. and his advice is always really logical. he's 8 yrs older than me. im 18 he's 26...What should i do? On one hand i'd like to go out with him, but am afraid that once we do, we'd wanna see each other more often. and that'll be bad once he leaves. ill miss him like crazy. ok i'm going on and on here...what should i do??

We've been married for about a year now. Things were great for the first couple months but all of a sudden it went downhill. Let me explain a few things. My wife and I work at the same place, a hotel. She works the afternoons and I work the midnights. 4 months ago we stopped having sex, I think I know why and it is kind of legitimate even though I wish she'd talk to me about it. Recently, I've had this feeling that she's cheating. It's small things, and at times I see them as unjustified but I see them none the less. The first being the sex thing, though I think I know why I am not certain as we havn't talked about it. Second, she just recently started using her old E-Mail address again. It has her maiden name in it. I'll admit now that I have spied on her and havn't seen any bad E-Mails but how do I know that she doesn't delete them as soon as she reads them. Another reason I think she might cheat and leave me is that when we first me she was engaged and left him for me.

HELP ME!!!

i have four kids , the oldest three i have no bother with but the youngest is a nightmare. he is 20mths old, he kicks, hits, bites and generally causes havoc. i have tried ignoring him, slapping him(not hard though which my husband says is the problem)putting him in time out(which he just ignores anyway and goes at whatever he wants) he is starting to do this to other children as well as adults. i need help.
