it could be mid life crisis...he could be telling the truth but now where does it go from here...does he feel he still loves you and wants to be with you or is he ready to go on without you...This isnt usually maybe its a sign that your love life is dying so try things that could make it work...go on a vacation or something so him you guys are getting old be getting younger in love..

After 20 years of marriage, why would you want to dig into the past for even more pain then what you're dealing with this time? If your willing to forgive, so be it....don't worry about your images of him screwing every woman he came in contact with in the past, they are just your images, deal with this time, either heal, or toe to heel!

tell him he has shattered your trust. doesn't matter if its the first time or not. you know this about him now so getting past it if that is what u decide to do is what matters. he will have to earn your trust back. find out why he did it in the first place and that may give u a little insight as to whether or not this is the first time.

It shouldn't matter if it was his 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 25th. Cheating is cheating. Even if it is his first time, he'll do it again if he knows he can get away with it.
