Go to social services and apply for subsidized housing and whatever else assistance you qualify for. Go to Your State Department of Labor and check out the job listings. Do have a resume that you can mail or e-mail. Don't bring up subjects that start the misery. Just stay out of his way until you can afford to go. If you have to there are shelters that will help you find a job and housing.
