Among my siblings, I have 2 brothers, 33 and 36 who are still not married. They are very picky and stupid about their selections....which is what I think. So they are still not married. On top of that I have a sister who is 40 yrs old and is still not married. She is also picky and just plain stubborn. Now, Im 22 and am dying to leave and get married. I feel like there is a barrier thats stopping us from getting married. Any one have any thoughts, suggestions, opinions....anything????

i like this guy and everyone knows...but there is this other girl who likes him too...her friend always tells me all of these things that he says to her and shes always like i think he likes her...i no she does it to make me jealous though...and i no this guy alot more than they do and he is a HUGE flirt and he says he loves you to everyone but he is just kidding...of course she doesnt no that so she thinks he is serious when he says that stuff and it makes me mad when she tries making me jelous...what should i say to tell her to stop trying to make me jealous?

It's funny, me and a buddy were talking about it earlier, and I remember EVERY detail. Her name was Martha (shut up), and it was the night I graduated 8th grade (in 1985). We were having a party, and truth be known, I think SHE was kissing ME more (or better) than I was kissing her. Is it true that everybody remembers their first kiss? Do you remember details like that of your first kiss? He and I laughed for an hour talking about our first kisses. I hadn't thought about that in YEARS!

ok well i really like this guy and i have known him for over a year now and he just came to my school this year and he knows that i like him a whole lot we talk everyday.on the computer, phone and at shcool. he has been to my house 1 time before. i give him hugs everyday. i have never kissed him but i really want to. and we have been b/f and g/f before but we didnt ever break up we just stopped talkin i guess it was my fault b/c at the time he didnt go to my school and i was having trouble at home he knew this and i moved away for the summer and i didnt call anyone i was so upset. when i finally came back home i called him and he says that we hadnt talked in a while and he doesnt wait up on girls and i understand that he knows just about everything about me and i know just about everything about him he is a senior and im a sophmore and i have friends that are freshmen that like him but he says he wont go with them and i know that he doesnt have a girlfriend what am i to do? im confused

Would anyone have some advice on approaching a business to sponsor your wedding? I know I've heard it done and I'd really like to get some help on paying for my upcoming wedding. Not necessarily monetary, but maybe donated items for the centerpieces and such.

I am so upset with my husband. We are suppose to be getting our house ready to sell. We are currently in the process of building the new house. My husband is not working on the house itself, but constantly wanting to spend free time doing stuff to the land. The land is not in need of anything specific, he is just wasting time on it. No he is not off doing other things. He goes there with his dad. I have been stuck with the kids and trying to keep our house clean to sell. He has been getting mad at me because I am getting mad at him for not helping out here. It is a revolving circle of just complaining. I feel like I am just constantly nagging, but all I want is help around here. (He does typically help clean and pick up.) There are just things our house needs done to sell it.

Help me. I feel like just walking out. (I wouldn't really do that.) That is just what I feel like. We both have so much pressure and stress, that it is wearing thin.

Give me suggestions.

A few people's comments on here got me thinking.

Ever notice how that some people are offended if an unattractive person asks them out, or otherwise indicates that he admires them, even if he is polite about it? The ugly person might be the nicest person in the world, but if he is a nerd, or overweight, or otherwise ugly, then that person is considered as pure evil for having the nerve to fall in love, and people treat him badly.

And some people seem to make threats of reporting someone for sexual harassment (a potentially career ending move for both people involved) simply because the person who was attracted to the other was ugly, or socially awkward, not because he actually did anything consciously wrong, immoral, or even all that annoying (look at some of the advice giv here on Y!A if you do not believe me).

Why do some people consider love to be offensive? If you don't like him, why not just say "no" politely and leave it at that? Any thoughts as to why people are so crue

I called her(my current girlfriend)earlier this evening from my cell phone!!!!!!We(my girlfriend and I)talked about us!!! She said that she recieved a call from a friend of hers who withdrew from Hiram Gilbert Andrews Center located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania! Now, I am -- I guess -- considering going back to school in January of 2007! But we are not 100% sure yet as to whether or not I will go back to school!! But if I do go back to school in January of 2007, my current girlfriend said on my cell phone earlier tonight: "I'll dump/break up with you if you go back to school"!Is she saying that because she doesn't know what she wants?? If I go back to school, I don't know what I'll even DO if she(my current girlfriend)

I just broke up with my boyfriend of about a year and I am kind hurt. I know it was coming because we stopped talking for like two weeks. I told him that it was going to be hard for me to broke up with him because i had so much love for him. My heart wasn't in it no more and neither was his. I guess when that time came for us to break up I was nervous and I did not realize how hard it was going to be. It was a big step for me and I know something good will come out of it but I'm hurt. It feels weird not talking to him everyday,hearing his voice. I know there's a better person out there for me. This is all what love is about, right? What do you think about my situation?

how can i get my date to not be so shy at the next dance? he didnt dance AT ALL!!! i had fun with my friends but i was going back and fourth to the bleachers to sit with him, and then go with my buds to dance. after the dance he called his parents and told them he was coming home, he got grounded for 2 weeks because he didnt tell his grandfather that he was going. he stormed off and i asked him what was wrong, if he needed a ride still, and if he was walking home. he ignored me and ran. i started crying because i care about him and i wanted to know what was wrong. he cant use his phone for 2 weeks and i will only see him at school! i feel empty, what should i do with all of this going on??? I have been to some dates with average and hot guys. All of them seemed to be pretty quick when it comes to sex. One guy told me that he wanted to have sex on the second date. I need help. I feel so stipid. Since I called my ex to make sure we were friends my heart has cracked. he isn't living so close to here, which maybe good. Everyone and here, and everyone I know tells me not to go back to him. Besides, I think he has someone else now. I dated him for 2 yrs and fell in love.
