my previous relationship was abusive and i feel this pain when i think of love.right now i am friends with someone and like him,the feeling is mutual but i am too scared.i have told him and he said he would wait until im ready.but i am confused about what i am feeling.

Totally. You're not over your last relationship. He scarred you, he hurt you physically and emotionally, and you're scared of this relationship that seems promising, but you're scared that'll be liked the last one. You want it so bad, you want to be ready, but you're not, because someone hurt you and you're damaged. It's perfectly fine to be feeling the way you are. Anyone in your position would feel like that. This guy sounds good for you, and he says he'll wait. So give it time. Wait until you are positive you are ready, wait until the wounds heal, and if he is the one for you, if he really likes you, he'll still be there. Good luck!

Honey... what you feel is natural especially that you have had an abusive relationship which have left it's marks all over you....DON'T worry...you will be ready to get into another relationship if you gave the 2nd guy a chance and FORGOT about your past...

wait it out if hes really truelly willing he WILL wait forever. also you might want to wait so you know exatly what you're feeling and what to do about it.
